Well situated opposite the park and on the margin of the historic town centre. The parking outside is not actually quite free after all, but it's pretty cheap. The hotel is well located within easy walking distance of the cultural and tourist sites, and metered parking is directly outside. Reception was friendly and helpful with advice on walking routes and restaurant recommendations. Our room was not large but comfortable, but apparently recently refurbished and possibly some other rooms are not yet modernised. This is a well placed little hotel right in the heart of the old town overlooking the park. There is no free parking for the hotel but we took our car up to the Castelo with us (the lower carpark is free at the castle) and by the time we returned it was only a couple of Euros and that ran over into the next morning.||||The rooms was comfortable, it was a little chilly so they had a fan heater as well as the air con which had it warmed in no time.
