This building is like from a fairy tales book. I can’t believe that there’s been no movie director using this structure for a scary or fairy tales movie. This is a pretty impressive surprise hidden in the North side of the old town. It is also nearby to a very good restaurant. The small park that is in front makes it a perfect combination for a magical hidden corner that lives in a magical and mystical place home of vampires, werewolves and witches. As the old town is pretty small, I recommend coming here very early in the morning (9am to 10am) so that you have the site just for you and can get beautiful pictures.

Construida en el siglo XIV y reconstruida en 1681 en estilo barroco tras un incendio, esta torre se encuentra en la parte noreste de la ciudadela. Su estructura hexagonal y su tejado puntiagudo con dos pequeñas torretas de observación le confieren un aspecto único. En su interior, alberga una pequeña exposición sobre la historia de las guildas medievales y ofrece vistas panorámicas de la ciudad. ❌ Aspectos negativos: Aunque su arquitectura es notable, la torre puede pasar desapercibida para algunos turistas debido a su ubicación fuera de las rutas más transitadas. Además, su interior es relativamente sencillo en comparación con otras torres de la región. 🌐 Valoración global: La Torre de los Zapateros es una visita recomendable para quienes deseen explorar más allá de los puntos turísticos habituales de Sighișoara.
