Pensiunea Lelila Inn — Hotel in Sighișoara

I was traveling through Sighisoara at the perfect time, during the annual Medieval festival at the end of July. Arriving at the train station, I followed the crowds through town, across the bridge and looking at my Maps.me GPS app the hotel was straight up the hill. So if you have the energy to carry your bags, from the right of the bridge, take the steps that go up the hill otherwise you have to walk around the fortress.. Lelila Inn is just a short walk to the main square. It is located within the fortress. It is a tidy little inn but only has stairs - several flights to get to your room. The room was comfy and clean, not a big bathroom. The wifi was not great in the room, I had to use it in the main entrance. This is a basic little inn, without an evening concierge, so make sure you have their tel# when you go out. The keys work well in the front door. They do not serve breakfast. We had two nights at Lelila Inn in beautiful Sighisoara. Anna-Maria was very welcoming and we had two comfortable rooms at the back of the property. Parking off-street was very welcome, too. Quiet and very handy for the sights of the city, but beware the creaking floorboards - I sneaked out to take some early-morning photos, but probably woke everyone up in doing so! By the way, talk to Tudor about the Saxon fortified churches - he's written a book about them. Although no restaurant on site, they make good recommendations and can provide a basic packed breakfast to take out if you want one. The Inn is not only itself from Medieval time but also decorated with a Medieval style. Laura has paid a lot attention to the details of the Inn and has made an amazing work. The service was great, Laura was really nice and organized. The Inn is in the centre and you can get anywhere in less than 5/10 minutes. We totally recommend to stay here. If we come back to Sighisoara, we will be definitely stay...
