I would like to comment on the service of the Radisson Royal Cruise service.
The first time I came to Moscow in 2011, I went on the cruise, and had a great time. Such a great time that when I returned there again this summer, I decided to go again, and take my little cousins with me. We bought a ticket, but because it was our last day, and we had time, we went to see the Christ The Saviour Cathedral. We took a taxi, there and back to make sure we would make it on time. When we came back, we were exactly 45 seconds late, and the ship departed in front of our eyes. We still had a chance to get on it if they stopped it, as it was less than a meter away from us. I asked if they could let us hop on, but the people on deck, declined this offer. I came to the office and asked the girls at the front what can be done. They were very rude, they said that nothing can be done, and that the tickets cannot be refunded. I told them that we were leaving on the same day, and after buying 4 tickets, I didn't want that money to go to waste, so I asked to talk to the manger. I'm guessing people don't usually do this in Russia, because after I asked for the manager, the girls at the front started whispering between themselves, which I found to be extremely rude. The manager also didn't want to understand the situation and told me that we would have to pay more and upgrade. I asked if we can get a discount on the upgrade because we already paid that much and we didn't want to have to pay more (especially when it didn't matter for us if it was "Royal" or not). She said nothing can be done, so I ended up paying an additional fee for the 4 people.
I would have let it go then, but, once we were on ship, it started to depart 4 min later! 4 min!! That means that if were were 45 seconds late to this ship, we would have made it. After the cruise was over, I came back to the service desk and told the girls what happened and if they can somehow explain this. There was no explanation for this, and they didn't want to do anything to make me leave less dissatisfied.
This experience was horrible compared to the first experience I had, and I don't know if I'll be choosing Raddison Cruise again the next time I'll...

The food was superb, starting from the salads and cold cuts, and all the way to the grilled meats, fish and desserts. The service staff was prompt and friendly, and the ride itself was smooth and beautiful, especially at night.
At the upper deck, you can host private parties of up to 50 people with a dedicated service staff, while on the lower deck you can enjoy their buffet along with a individual tables for small groups.
This entire experience most definitely lived up to the hotel's quality and it is definitely recommended if you...
Read moreWell, i saw all the reviews mentioning the rude staff here, and YES! They were 100% right ! I booked first class tickets, the women inside the office selling the tickets and the waitress inside the cruise are very rude! They have no respect especially the waitress, i had to go to them myself so they can take my order, the only normal person on this cruise was the photographer. I ask the management of Raddison to look on this issue as you’re going to lose customers this way , the boat and the food are nice but i don’t recommend it to anyone because of the staff’s behavior, they ruined the experience and i unfortunately wasted my money....
