Alexander Garden is a 10-hectare green space running the full length of the western Wall of the Kremlin in Moscow. This is a nice place to spend time before or after visits to the Kremlin and Red Square area attractions.
The garden was originally designed between 1819-1823 by Russian architect Osip Bove by order of Tsar Alexander I as part of the reconstruction of the city after the Napoleonic Wars.
Here you will find impressive fountains and cascading pools, grotto, Romanov Obelisk, the Tomb to the Unknown Solider and other impressive statues and monuments. During our July visit, we were pleased to find shady spots under trees flush with green foliage. The flowerbeds were in full bloom as well, this was nice to see.
Note: You will also find the ticket office for the Kremlin at Alexander Garden. The entrance to the Kremlin is nearby at Trinity Bridge.

And of course there are high end dining and theatre options, museums, exhibition halls right adjacent to the garden.
The thing to beholden at the alecandrovskyi sad is the magnificent monument to the warfighters as well awesome sculptures of war heroes, generals ad well scientific achievers of the nation. You get a sense of the invincible and warrior .nature of the Russian people.
