Can only comment on my experiences going there on weekends
Food is great, no question (however this depends on the specific tent you go to, so a great deal of variability can be expected, however with that said, food was overall great - 8/10 at worst. The atmosphere is a little too crowded for comfort, there's usually very little space available for sitting (this may be offset by showing up early, however it still gradually gets overcrowded as the day progresses). Bring camp chairs and a huge umbrella /tent if you're at that level of "dedicated".
Not ideal if you're concerned about Covid, each breath you take is probably recycled 50 times before you Inhale it, but then again it's your life...
If you happen to go on a day when it's not too crowded (prolly during the week), take at least 4 other people with you (it's a little awkward if there's like only two of you) , take more drinks than you think you'll need plus/minus hookah if you're into that sorta thing and have a nice chill sesh. Then heard down to 'Lifestyle Centre' and dance away the post prandial...
Read moreThe place Kwa Mai Mai Traditional Market is very entertaining however music from different stalls makes for loud experience rather than one singular DJ to entertain visitors. The facilities for guests to relieve themselves (toilets) is non existent which is troubling when pressed to access restrooms. The food is amazing however variety of food would help not everyone selling wors, liver, steak altogether. Variety of meals recommended example samp, bunny chow, cow heels, intestines, chicken giblets,,,,, just to name a few could add to experience. Dessert not optional and would be great to have some cake or ice cream, pudding , milkshake to add more flavour to the Kwa Mai Mai market. Overall 2 star ⭐ rating as mentioned above and parking is limited inside and outside. No mashalls to guard vehicles , and. Loads to improve...... Plus is Jewel Mall is right up it's ally Could visit Roots Grill...

It felt unsafe, uncomfortable, unhygienic with very wet grounds and some dodgy looking characters.
We drove in, no order in terms of parking, some cars were parked on the road and refused to move. Toilets looked dirty and unkept from the outside.
We realized we can't eat here. Where would we sit? We had no energy to even look for items. It just looked unkept and unpleasant... We left without even...
