Sunnypark Shopping Centre — Attraction in Gauteng

Not my best of small malls due to its limited store representation. However, you will find a departmental store that represents something you are probably looking for. It's a beautiful place. Very easy to move around the mall. Great parking facility. Security is not visible. Always bubbling with life!

Recently, I found that a lot of the stores have moved out. Human traffic, especially around the food court has reduced significantly but then, there are still a lot of people around the store. I wonder where people go or come from 😂. The outside sitting area by the edges seems to be a favourite spot for many of the mall visitors. I get concerned about mobile phone hijacking but it seems like everyone is cool and safe which is awesome.

Lastly, this is an amazing melting pot of cultures. You will clearly see the different faces that represent different tribes and tongues from and out of South Africa. A great place to just chill to appreciate the beautiful rainbow colours that define this amazing country. I do love to visit the place, despite the dirty reputation that Sunnyside has...

I mostly go here for Banking, Gym, Grocery and Clothing. But I have been here for a few dates, back in the days. The shopping centre is safe and clean, with a great spacious parking lot that works until late at night 🧘🏾‍♂️🧘🏾‍♂️🧘🏾‍♂️

All in all it is a great place to go for a drink, coffee, groove or shopping. I think of it as a one stop shopping centre. If you are looking for a place to do some grown up things, this is a great place for that🤗🤗🤗

You can be here for business and never ever realize you are in a shopping centre, from the way it is structured. There are conference centers and a hotel on the upper levels, with there own separate parking area🤸🏾‍♂️🤸🏾‍♂️🤸🏾‍♂️

All the parking areas are multiple levels at a low price, that doubles on weekends. So be sure to leave some change for parking 😂😂😂 If you happen to loss your ticket, it is cost you some cash. But the service is very quick...

Sunnypark has the usual stores suited for individual consumers or family. The introduction of a mini merry-go-round for kids at the bottom floor has cemented the centre as a family-friendly destination in the CBD.

It has everything for everybody falling within the lower to middle class income groups. Sorry, no diamond lane here or upmarket brands here. But still good enough.

Security is very visible and the parking lots inside are super safe. The security team is tops.

My only gripe is the male restrooms on the second floor and third floor; most are disfunctional. You will find that only 3 out of 10 cubicles are working on the third floor and 3 out of 5 on the second floor.
