Wilgeheuwel Xtreme Park — Attraction in Roodepoort

Took my son there the other day, we have been to this park several times. In terms of cleanliness it is at an acceptable level, not a wide variety of games but the standard ones like swings, merry go round, see saw and a big slide are there for the kids to enjoy, there is also big patches of grass to sit on and relax with a book or picnic. Overall an ok park to take your child to, the water feature stopped working a couple of years ago and if i remember correctly it was due to a drought/water shortage the country was going through at the time, hope they get it working again as it was the main attraction...

A little park near the retail crossing. There is a high slide, merry go round, seesaw, swings and a climbing frame. There is also a fountain near a seating area that has some benches, I think there is some braais as well but I've not really gone to that section. The biggest issue is the side with the seating is constantly wet as the little stream seems to over flow. It could do with maybe some more kids equipment, maybe a few...

Over crowded, but a nice place for kids to play and be kids when there is room. Very well taken care of. Often has dodgy people from the construction that has been going on around the area I assume. Adults who hog the swings. As a result children are afraid to play and aren't given the space to do so. Week days are the best times to take kids there or early mornings...
