I'm not the type of person to sit and write reviews but I felt that this time it was needed. Honestly I'm starting to hate coming to this particular Burger King. The attitude is so bad and today was the final straw. There is a staff member called Zodwa I believe, might have remembered it incorrectly but it was something like that. I have had two encounters with Zodwa. On both occasions I greeted her and asked her how she was, very politely I might add, and she responds with "fine". And the attitude with which she says it is disgusting. Like how hard is it to respond with "fine, how are you? ". It's called customer service but apparently that doesn't matter to her. I then had to wait a while for my order and I noticed that the lady who ordered after me got her food before me. So I approached Zodwa and asked her why that lady got her order before mine. And instead of treating me like a paying customer I was treated as though I was being given a free meal. She responded with an attitude saying "You'll get your order" and didn't even bother looking at me when she said this. I literally sat there and ate my meal in anger. This was by far one of the worst experiences I've had at any restaurant. This particular Burger King seems to be getting worse by the visit. I understand that the staff are sometimes under pressure but that should not affect how you treat your customers. I have had my fair share of experience in customer services and even on my worst days I would not treat a customer the way I was treated. On top of this I witnessed at least two other customers leaving the restaurant while shaking their heads. During our repeated visits to Burger King, we've consistently encountered a need to request table cleaning - an aspect that ideally should be managed with meticulous attention. Furthermore, the removal of outdoor umbrellas has noticeably diminished the appeal of available seating, detracting from the overall dining experience.
What stands out most, however, is the outlet's lack of warmth and personality. It's as if the essence of hospitality, which forms the backbone of the service industry, is missing here. This absence is felt not just in interactions, but also in the ambiance of the place, which fails to invite or retain a sense of connection.
On the culinary front, while the food maintains an acceptable standard, there's a considerable gap in service efficiency and cleanliness that cannot be overlooked. The prolonged wait times for both service and food preparation hint at underlying management issues that need urgent addressing.
In summary, while the core product (the food) meets basic expectations, the service and cleanliness aspects leave much to be desired. An improvement in these areas, along with a touch of friendliness and personality, could significantly enhance the dining experience at this Burger...
Read moreI am sooo disappointed!!! Again!!! Burger King chicken burger patties are sooooo overcooked and taste like oil. Takes like yesterday's rewarmed in oil patties and served today. The pattie crust was sooo dark and bitter. Come on guys how hard can it be. Wilgeheuwel branch needs to look at possibly retraining the kitchen staff. You guys made the best burgers when you started out, but now quality and taste have gone out the window. Your food is really bad. We are a family of four and I have finally come to a decision, we have abandoned hope and are done with Burger King
Tried again on the 18th if March 2023 6:45pm. We were only at the window to pay at 7:10. There were only 3 cars ahead of us. Shocking drive thru service!!! No load shedding in site, but again Burger King has dropped the ball....
