Benguela Blue restaurant, the name mimics the decor with beautiful At Botha paintings in blue window frames. And the the food......as good and tasty and beautiful as the paintings. We enjoyed every bit of it!! From the King clip on savoury rice to the mussel pot, best hake and mixed salad and an unbelievable prawn and chicken curry served on beautiful soft cooked rice. Really well prepared by the chefs. It is gems like this that makes life worth living and to enjoy the taste of well prepared...

I had the pleasure of meeting At today, we chatted about his dog Scruffy (who I came to meet). Sadly Scruffy had passed last year. At kindly gifted me a print of his beloved dog on Paternoster beach. I left in awe of his generous gift and loved our chat about the dogs of the area. At always has bowls of water and pellets outside his studio for the stray dogs. A man with a heart for animals is a man worth a million. Thanks At, I will remember this day...
