If you want to see a waterfall in Pretoria, this is probably it! But it’s probably not worth going out of your way to visit this landmark. The water is pumped up the hill to feed the waterfall, so it’s not really that “natural”. The area at the top is relatively unkept and even though the intention is to keep people away from (the top of) the waterfall, the fences are broken. There is a cave close to the fall, and even though there is also a fence and a gate with a big lock, it is not locked. The path to the waterfall is generally good, but towards the end you might need to search a little for it. The trail is great. We got lost due to no direction signage. They need to invest in improving path signs. As we found our way back we met 2 more groups also lost. It needs an urgent attention.
