We had planned to have breakfast at Cappuccinos Kollonade, attracted by the prospect of trying your new location. We consulted Google beforehand and confirmed that the restaurant was advertised to open at 8:00 AM on Sundays.

However, upon arriving at 8:32 AM, we were surprised to find the doors still closed. After inquiring with a staff member, we were informed that the restaurant was not yet open. When we pointed out that the listed opening time on Google was 8:00 AM, the server was unable to provide an explanation or even acknowledge the discrepancy. Instead, we were told that the restaurant opens at 9:00 AM.

Frustrated but still eager to enjoy our breakfast, we decided to pass the time by having coffee at Mugg & Bean, which does indeed open promptly at 8:00 AM. We returned to Cappuccinos at 9:08 AM, only to find the doors still closed. This was particularly confusing, as both the servers and the manager had confirmed a 9:00 AM opening time. When we asked again, we were told that the restaurant was "open," despite the closed doors, the absence of any staff to greet or seat us, and the overall unwelcoming atmosphere.

When we requested to be seated upstairs, we were informed that the area was still being cleaned, despite the fact that the restaurant should have been fully operational by that time. This lack of preparation and professionalism is completely unacceptable for an establishment of your stature.

The entire experience left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. The failure to adhere to your advertised opening hours, coupled with the unprofessional conduct of your staff, demonstrates a severe lack of time management and customer service. What should have been an enjoyable Sunday breakfast was instead a frustrating and disappointing ordeal.

I expect a prompt response to this complaint, along with an explanation for the mismanagement we experienced. I also request that immediate steps be taken to correct these issues so that future customers do not encounter the same level of...

Wow, wow, wow! The ambiance is so relaxed and welcoming and the view is simply amazing. I was really taken aback by the scenery.

The service was average, nothing really noticeable in that aspect. I don’t believe that they have floor managers because no one came around to check on the tables whilst we were there.

We ordered crumbed mushrooms for the table and it was presented beautifully. We all took a bite and it was nothingness. It didn’t even lack seasoning it had absolutely no seasoning whatsoever so that was quite disappointing.

We also ordered a breakfast dish and it was ok. A tramezzini was also ordered and the extra feta that was requested didn’t come until we had to ask for it again. Unfortunately I decided to order a Cajun chicken quesadilla, it looked amazing in terms of presentation. I did however have to order guacamole to add to the salsa and creme-fresh that comes with the dish, which for me was a surprise because it’s always part of the dish when you order it. Taste wise, the dish was so bland. The cheese, although warm, was stiff and not oozing like I feel it should have been. The filling was right at the centre of the quesadilla which made it lopsided.

So all in all, the view, the presentation of food and the ambiance is amazing but the food itself is such a waste of effort and money which is...

THANK GOODNESS THERE IS A MUGG & BEAN NEXTDOOR.. I went to Capuchino's for a Coffee and a light midmorning bite. My coffee cup was dirty - i.e. my finger stuck to the cup's ear. When I pointed this out, I got such an attitude, making the entire experience unpleasant and I felt threatened as the Waiters (as well as the 'Manager' - by the name of Twice) became almost hostile. They started talking about me, pointing at me and made me feel uncomfortable to the point I cancelled the coffee order, and they said if I want to leave, I'm welcome! they don't care!

I cannot recommend this restaurant as they are rude, do not know how to handle customer complaints, their management is at best the worst I've come across. The manager's attitude brushes off on the staff and they do not care what the guest's visiting experience is, and they do not know the first thing about being servers in a hospitality environment.

They rudely scolded my partner for putting her plastic water bottle on top of the plastic covered menu, not requesting to not do so (I fail to see what the reason is), the waiter instructed her to do so in a rude manner.

Stay AWAY people..! There is a Mugg & Bean a couple of doors down from...

When we arrived we waited at the "please wait here to be seated board" after waiting for about 5 mins we went in asking if there is anyone to please help us. (There was about 3 tables with customers with close to 10 or more waiters. Waiters standing arround and chatting) finally we were seated. We orderd Tramazini with Chips and Sea Food Pasta. WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT. The Chips was extremely dry and untastefull. The pasta was Horrible. I have never had such bad pasta ever in my life. 1st of all it did not look inviting at all. And it tasted like it was boiled in bitter ketchup. The pasta was over cooked. We then shared the tramazini which was also not the best I have tasted and took the pasta as take away to give to our dog. Needless to say my dog did not even eat it. Worse of all is we paid R148 for the pasta. I order a coke when we arrived and by the time our food came it was finished. The empty glass was also left on our table untill we left. Cappuccinos wil NEVER se me again .

Had an okay experience taking my mom for a Mother's day dinner. We were initially seated on the deck right next to the kids play area and asked to move since it was incredibly noise and had no separation available from the seating area. We got moved twice. The service was alright, nothing exceptional but the pasta we had were definitely the highlight of the evening. The cappuccinos we ordered were luke warm and we asked for cream but received foam. All in all not a horrible experience but definitely not what we expected. Could have been that the place was possibly busy on Mother's day but we genuinely expected more.
