There’s a walkway all around this lake that can cover on foot if you like but it would easily take you more than an hour to do that. We did it the easier way by hiring these bikes that can accommodate 4 or more people depending on the size of your group. Two ppl can pedal and control the direction at the same time. And it’s the fastest way to go around the lake without getting exhausted. You have an option to rent the bikes for 1hr or more. Read moreThe lake smells like the ocean. Very salty. It was cool and windy when I visited in the evening in summer. The paths are very flat and easy to walk. I walked about half the lake to a bike shop and rented a single person bike from Green Bike for 5000 won, for one hour. I didn't realise that when you put the kickstand down you need to clamp it together with your hand to lift it up otherwise it won't move so fyi on that. There are statues around the lake perimeter and some weird museums about film history and...Thomas Edison. It's very peaceful and a great cycling spot....
