Todam Soft Tofu — Restaurant in Gangneung-si

This is the best soft tofu stew (sundubu jjigae) I have had, hands down! Their tofu is made using seawater but it's not salty. Sundubu is a simple stew with simple ingredients and their stew is as simple as can be. It only has a few ingredients, not complicated but packed with so much flavor.

The restaurant is an old structure with wooden tables and chairs. If this restaurant is able to be in business for a long time, you know it's really good.

There's also a lot of jars where they keep their kimchi, soy sauce, bean paste. Their banchans are all homemade...

Not sanitary. Food tastes good overall but everything is so dirty. There are ants on the floor and they serve tap water(Which is culturery unacceptable in Korea although it is cleanest among all OECD countries.). The place it self is a very old house which is built with...

친구와 강릉에 왔다가 아침을 먹으러 가보게된 토담 순두부집! 강릉하면 초당두부라 두부를 좋아하는 한사람으로서 가봐야겠지요^^ 여기는 처음 가보는 식당인데~ 시설이 오래된 노포집이라 기분이 좋네요! 기존에 소를 키우는 우사였다고 하던데!!! 오래된 시설이 그대로 잘 보존되고 있네요^^ 순두부에 모두부를 주문하고 막걸리를 시킬까하다가 접었네요! 몸도 관리해야하니@@/ ㅎ 아쉬움을 뒤로하고 순두부와 모두부를 맨정신에 먹어보기로가격대비 맛은 별로네요^^;;; 김치도 중국산이고 다른 반찬들도 기성품?인듯한 느낌이 오네요~ 확인은 해봐야겠지만 말이지요! 모두부도 두조각에 이런 가격이라니ㅜㅜ 제 생각에는 너무 맛대비 가격이@@/ 가성비가그냥 친구와 바람쐬고 기분전환 했다는 생각만하겠습니다! ㅎ

24년 2월 11일 재방문 키오스크가 있고 외국분들이 서빙을 하시는데~ 테이블을 닦으시고 가셔서 물기가 많이 보여서 냅킨으로 닦는데@@/ 냅킨에 고추물이 새겨지네요ㅜㅜ
