View @ Seonim Bridge. . Also known as '7 Nymphs Bridge', this arch bridge features carvings of 7 nymphs (water fairies) on each side, each playing a musical instrument. . Standing 250 metres over the river and lined with 34 stone lanterns which are lit nightly, the bridge is a homage to the Korean legend which tells of the fairies descending from heaven to play and bathe in the waters here.

A lovely place in Jeju Island surrounded with relaxing scenery featuring the iconic Seonim Bridge over Cheonjeyeon Waterfall. The bridge is completed in the year of 1984 and the view from the bridge is spectacular! Highly recommended to visit both the bridge and the waterfall if you are planning a trip to Jeju!

Kitty and I were on a round island adventure on our bicycles, following the Jeju fantasy bike path. Seonim Bridge was one of our planned stops, but we had a bit of a disappointing experience. The map led us right to the waterfall, but it wasn't suitable for cycling and we are unable to reach the bridge. We had to cycle back up a steep hill, which was pretty tiring. Then, when we reached the park, we learned there was an entrance fee and the bridge was quite a distance in. We were stopped at the ticketing counter because bicycles aren't allowed in the park. We asked if they could watch our bikes while we walked across the bridge, but they said no. We were really bummed because we had looked forward to seeing this beautiful bridge up close and watch Cheonjeyeon Waterfall from above. We ended up just seeing it from afar and not able to see the waterfall. Seonim Bridge looks like a beautiful spot, and we can see why it's a popular tourist attraction. But we think it's a shame that bicycles aren't allowed in the park. Jeju Island is known for its cycling paths, and we think it would be great to be able to cycle around the park and see the bridge. We're giving Seonim Bridge a lower rating because of the bicycle restrictions. We hope they reconsider their policy and allow cyclists to explore this amazing place.

Seonim Bridge: A Mythical Crossing, Hidden Beauty Seonim Bridge, or '7 Nymphs Bridge,' is a striking red arch bridge featuring carvings of mythical nymphs. Its design, inspired by Korean legend, is eye-catching. Each side of the bridge is adorned with intricate carvings of seven nymphs, water fairies from Korean legend, each depicted playing a different musical instrument. This homage to the tale of celestial beings descending to bathe in the Cheonjeyeon River adds a layer of enchantment to the crossing. However, the bridge's full splendor is somewhat blocked by the dense, overgrown trees and bushes. While the red arches are visible, it is difficult to capture the intricate carvings without a zoom lens. Despite this, the bridge itself is well-maintained and provides a quick, scenic crossing of the valley. The panoramic view from the bridge's vantage point, overlooking the valley and the Cheonjeyeon River is a memorable experience. Tip: Head to the small viewing platform for the 2nd waterfall of Cheonjeyeon Falls located on the opposite end of the bridge. Overall, Seonim Bridge is a worthwhile stop for its unique design and mythical connection.

Seomin Bridge is nice to see but... from outside the park! There is absolutely no good viewpoint inside the park. Trees are everywhere, even in front of the observatory point! I mean, I love nature and I like when it grows, but a bit of pruning sometimes would be appreciated, especially when people pay for it. I suggest going down the South, along the street to observe it.

There is not much to see. But you still can enjoy here for scenic. The bridge in good condition, very beautiful architecture. Still worth to visit. If you visit on summer, there's a lady who sell fruit around. Try it!
