CGV Gangnam — Attraction in Seoul

Cool cinema, i went to the 6th room, the 10th floor and honestly i thought the sound was way too loud for that surface. Im covid times, every other chair is blocked, so that everyone has a free seat between them an the next person. You can buy tickets on the ticket machine, in english. Before taking your place, at the entrance on the 4th floor, you have to scan a qr code and leave your name and phone number, then check T°. The streets right behind the cinema ar full of cool places to eat and drink, but everything closes around 11 pm. Definitely a young & fresh neighborhood you...

This is a really nice theater. Especially the ones which have SCREENX screens are just top class.

It isn't the best CGV in Seoul as that would probably be Apgujeong and Yongsan. It doesn't have an IMAX screen either.

But it makes up for it by being in a very convenient location right by Gangnam Daero near Sinnonhyeon station.

Beware though, the subtitles would only be in Korean, as is the case with almost every theater...

I saw "Us" here, and am a US citizen who does not speak Korean, so I was nervous that I would find some part of the movie going experience unpleasant, but it was great. I would gladly see any film here. Concessions were good and affordable by movie theater standards, sound was good, and it's a movie theater in a high rise - what more...
