Our 2 week stay was great at the Kobos Hotel in Yeouido, the General Manager Mr Choi Elgene was the absolute best! Everytime we saw him he greeted us with the biggest most cheerful voice and always asked us if we needed anything to ask him, he was so very kind and sweet and it made our trips back home to the hotel so welcoming! Thank you Mr Choi! The room was quite large and the bathroom even bigger, I loved the rain shower head, so relaxing and the body wash smelt divine! We were so lucky to have the laundry so close as well and the washer/dryer combo was very handy. It was wonderfully quiet and the area had a good range of restaurants and convenience stores too. The ONLY reason I have 4 stars for the room was because the window screen/sill was very dusty, I had to wipe it down so we could have some clean air but it could be that Seoul has had fine dust issues? I'm not sure. Location was great for the Yeouido Cherry blossom festival but a little far from other sites but easily accessible as the subway was a short walk away and the taxi system in Seoul is super cheap and very quick, so it wasn't a big deal. It is surrounded by cafes, starbucks coffee shops and quite a few bars. It is a close walk to the Han River which is great for putting a few kms on the shoes. ||||The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. For someone who has spent time in lots of Japanese business hotels, this was luxurious in comparison. The room was well fitted out with a couple of desks, chairs, wardrobe, slippers and robes. TV appeared to be only local channels so don't expect western cable to be available.||||Heating and cooling worked well. The Wi-Fi in the room was free but quick connection was questionable. However, down in the lobby, the Wi-Fi was super quick (and free).||||Breakfast selection was average, but adequate. Service from the hotel staff were reliable and prompt.||||Not the hotel to be if you're looking for the down town cosmopolitan scene of Seoul. But if you're here for business and looking at hanging out locally with the co-workers, it's a great...
