Moderately streneous walk in from Caleta village arrives you at hippy cove which has no sand and entry to water auckward. Following along and round the waters edge leads to nice coastal view, secluded but often windy. Further round headland its a bit awkward to navigate (to Dieo Hernandes beach where you have sand and very sheltered conditions, ) with steep drops into water on narrow ledges ( probably eroded even further now). Other route to take is from this original cove and follow tracks straight up and over the igneous outcropped headland to Diego Hernando sandy beach. Well worth being here as water access great and clean. Crossing through hippy huts and on past next headland gives access to other more peppled areas of beaches, but beware the water here is contaminated as hippies use this areas water repeatedly as a latrine. Otherwise it's a very very secluded area with complete shelter from winds on large rock slabs and generally frequented by male naturists both young and old, who cast of their inhibitions as well as there clothes. Take enough WATER for whole day and sunscreen unless you want to be a lobster. Great sunsets. Another route in to these areas is to leave the road near the turn off for the golf club, follow the golf course perimiter fence, then entering the rougher headland area, feel free to become a naturist the rest of thecway downhill, multiple routes, steep. Please take...
Read moreHidden gem beach in South of Tenerife. Park in the area of "Ristorante Tuttobene" in La Caleta (free parking), climb the steep stairs to the plateau (you should be able to find them on Google Maps) and hike 5-10 minutes to this beach. There is a labyrinth of paths, cactuses and bushes, but in the end you will find the quickest way. There is a relatively steep descent to the beach but it's doable. I've seen people wearing flipflops on the way but I don't recommend it. One of the best locations in Tenerife for sunsets and photography lovers. We read some reviews about the presence of nudists here but we didn't see any. But we didn't care anyway about this, so go for it! Take water, snacks, there are no bars on the beach, just rocks, high cliffs and some crabs. Careful when the...

To reach the beach you have to park in La Caleta and do a short (10 mins), but steep in one part hike (relatively safe, we did not have any troubles in Birkenstocks).
Keep in mind that the beach is not the best option for swimming since it’s a rocky coast, but the views and overall...
