Didn't want to have regrets dining out on our last evening and researched for a tapas place within 20 min drive to land here. Service was great and all the tapas we had were excellent! I really liked how they prepared their prawns in a tasty red sauce (mojo sauce?) than just plain garlic oil. The octopus was moist and very tender. Should note few things to the North American tourist is the meatballs were prepared slightly raw in middle, thr server indicated it's fresh (we assumed it's like beef tartare) and was willing to have it fully cooked by kitchen. We tried it as is and didn't get sick. Other note is the half portion tapas was still a lot of food; like the fried bait and fried peppers. We tired the Bailey's dessert that's like a fresh brownie with a large Bailey's center, it's moist and delicously gooey to go with an espresso. Then we were surprised by the server plopping a bottle of chilled local honey rum on the table and proceeded to pour the adults a shot and fizzy drink for the kids. It was on the house. We heard about the must try local wines but didn't know about this amazing locally produced honey rum for us to immediately buy some at the local grocerer to bring back home. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience and hospitality!

Wow! What a Fantastic Gem of a place, in the Beautiful La Caleta! Was made to feel so welcome and even special on arrival. Tapatas - Beautiful Place! The service - Outstanding! The Food - Absolutely Delicious & So Fresh! We had the Padron Peppers & Canary Potatoes for starters - Lovely sized portions & so reasonably priced! Not forgetting - absolutely delicious! We then had the Tuna Stir Fry & Chicken Stir Fry, Fresh, Tasty, & presented with Love. Christina was so accommodating & fun! Christina and other staff members literally went above & beyond, to ensure we were comfortable, (my mum is disabled - they really do care for All customers - I watched how all customers were served & treated with care!) I really appreciated this extra care and compassion. When the food arrived - WOW! Beautifully prepared, presented & tasted absolutely divine! This place is a MUST go to! I will absolutely be returning to this Gem of a find Tapas, with its Amazing staff, Authentic atmosphere, Traditional Tapas & Great prices! Thank you for a great service, and fabulous food, Christina & Team, you really are Fantastic! See you next time, for sure! Ann & Frances 💜💜

Everyone’s different but I came in hoping for authentic Spanish flavours after spotting that shiny 4.7 rating on Google. The trouble is, reviews here are mostly written by us Brits… and if your culinary yardstick is jellied eels and a Sunday roast at Wetherspoons, anything with a hint of garlic might seem Michelin-worthy. Service? Absolutely brilliant! Warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely people. No complaints there at all. The food, however, was a bit of a let-down. Croquettes were dry (not the usual melt in your mouth experience but very dry and heavy), calamari had an odd yellow tinge - perhaps time for an oil change? And the “pan con tomate” was basically chopped tomatoes on a baguette, so closer to bruschetta than its Spanish cousin. The setting and vibe were spot-on, charming décor, relaxed atmosphere but sadly we left more disappointed than delighted. Shame, really, because with service like that, you can’t help wishing the food lived up to it.
