Living here in tenerife it's always a chore to find somewhere to have dinner, we have passed by this venue on many occasions and thought let's make a change from our usual venues in La Caleta. The restaurant itself is a beautiful place since its refurbishment and change of hands. The waitress we had to start was lovely and very polite and even had a little humour with us. Having placed our initial drinks order we took a few minutes to decide on the wine. Once we placed our order for the wine, a bottle of Malleolus which I might add is not your bog standard bottle. With this I expected the waitress to serve with a little care and understanding of what she was pouring, heavy handed springs to mind. At the point I can forgive. We proceeded to place our food order and again the first waitress was lovely. I can not fault the starters 🙌🏽. The chef even approached the table to finish off the perfect serve. I have to say from then on it went downhill! When we finished our starters the second waitress who cleared our plates (the same who served the wine) refrained from clearing the cutlery, infact she took them off of each plate and placed them on the napkins set aside until it came to my set. She removed my cutlery and placed them on the place mat 🤨 as my napkin was on my lap. I have never been in a restaurant where starter cutlery is not removed and replaced before a main course even in #cheaper restaurant's, this is basic etiquette. Our main courses arrived and as she served mine i had to ask for a fresh set of cutlery. The main courses were ok, the suckling pig was the best out of the 4. The lamb that was ordered was luke warm and was missing the sauce option that was offered. The steak dish looked like a children's meal and the seafood pasta actually had a reasonable amount of seafood. I have to say if you are gonna charge a certain amount then I expect a certain amount of service. I don't think we will be returning to this venue anytime soon. Like I said it's a beautiful venue and location and the first waitress I can not fault. After all of this when it came to paying the bill can I say having a waitress that had not served us once to stand there hovering was another point of...

Like its sister restaurant, La Cava, this restaurant has reopened recently as a luxury offering. The decor, menu, concept and prices have been stepped up and at the moment while much of it is excellent it doesn’t quite feel settled. We have had a lunch and a dinner here. I advise you try it (with an open mind to it being new) before it becomes so busy you won't be able to get in!

Positives: The location and decor are fantastic. The waitresses serving us were charming Most of the food and wine was very good The seafood platter (no fish) was one of the best I've ever had. It was generous, varied and really tasty - highly recommended if you like prawns and shellfish. The sushi is good The mojos are homemade and tasty and the potatoes with them are excellent The food is all presented well The tuna tataki was tasty - which is not always the case at other places. The wine list and recommdations from our waitress are interesting (good) and reasonably priced.

Negatives (management feedback): The chips were not great The fish casserole was reasonably tasty but a little bland and could be improved by a touch of red mojo or more flavour. Some staff appeared flustered and under pressure. On a positive, at lunch the boss was sitting there watching everyone and giving instructions, so this is a good sign. The guy serving our drinks didn't know basic information of what was served by the glass. The concept of the menu on your phone. While this is left over from covid it doesn't suit a luxury establishment like this and may put some of their potential clients off. Enjoying the menu is part of the experience. The way the menu is set out. We are used to an excellent user experience on our phones. The food and wine listings are not well set out and the English translation was done by Google Translate and needs a real person to finesse it.

Overall this place is good for now and with a little work will be the best place in la...

Beautiful location but sadly our experience at this restaurant did not live up to expectations. After a few problems including two meals that were not what had been ordered (but ended up being absolutely delicious) and the wrong seafood platter being delivered we settled down to eat! Unfortunately the seafood was terrible! We live by the coast in the uk and are used to eating good quality fish and seafood but this was truly awful! We politely said we were not happy with the quality of the food at which point the manager, instead of dealing with our issues calmly and politely was confrontational and rude. During a very heated discussion (which he wanted to have at the table but which one of our party suggested was taken to a quieter part of the restaurant) we explained that we were happy to pay for the two incorrect but non the less very nice meals (which incidentally were meat not fish) but we were not going to pay for the seafood which was so poor it was not eaten! Rather than accept that his kitchen had served a substandard meal he continued to be argumentative and confrontational but eventually an amount was agreed on and paid. We were more shocked at the attitude of the manager than the poor food, every restaurant encounters the occasional quality issue with a dish and a complaint from a customer but it’s how that complaint is dealt with that is key to the quality of service and reputation of said business! In this case the whole situation was dealt with extremely badly and with totally the wrong attitude - needless to say we will...

This is a gorgeous little restaurant over looking the bay at La Caleta. We booked a table with a Seaview with a welcome sea breeze, for evening dinner. We were greeted by 3 ladies who were all very smiley and welcoming. We had the cava to drink which I found was the nicest cave Ive had as its not my usual choice of fizz. We ordered lots of small plates.....maybe a bit too much. We were so full by the end of it that it was a welcome walk back to the Tivoli hotel to work some of it off. We had the Garlic prawns, tuna salad, fish croquettes, buratta salad, canarian potatoes and fresh bread. My daughter had the tomato pasta. The croquettes were to die for but they were massive and not to be left as they were so delicious. The comfit tomatoes with the buratta were cooked well with an olive crumb. The tuna wasn't my favourite as it wasn't what I thought it was. It was a tuna belly with potatoes mixed in that said it was nice but not for me. My daughter liked her tomato pasta too. There was no room for desert! The table behind us ordered a huge seafood platter which looked amazing. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

DRAMA! Tried again at this restaurant but we could have done better not. Ordered fish soup in advance, followed by three main courses. After waiting a while, three plates were thrown on the table? The fish soup came together with the main courses in one go. The fish soup was not at all what you hoped for. A watery soup with carrot rice and three pieces of fish. I've never had such a bad fish soup. They kept the main course, which they immediately served, in the kitchen (kept it warm) for a while. Four pieces of meat with a total of 19 fries. Cold and above all tasteless. They had forgotten to season the breaded chicken from the oil and the lettuce was old and should not actually be served. My other table companion's fish had a good taste, but that's about it. Paid a lot for bad food and that for the second time. Has really become a tourist restaurant because you won't go back!

We initially popped in for a drink while we were taking a stroll around La Caleta. Worth noting by the way that there is a daytime dress policy and if you're too beachy then you'll probably only be able to use the tables near the entrance. We enjoyed the drinks and garlic prawns a lot and the restaurant's position is amazing being right by the edge of the water, so we decided to book dinner there. We had a great meal, the fish looked really fresh and the meat in the chilled cabinet looked amazing. In fact, we are from the tapas menu and we're not disappointed. Excellent food and reasonably priced drinks. We had a table right by the ocean and the service was very good. We enjoyed it so much we went back again before our holiday ended. From outside this isn't as modern looking as some of the restaurants in the area, but the food, service and position are all great.
