This is not the greatest water park. So much so that I had to raise my frustrations with the manager. Everything was so slow, from entering the park, over 15 minutes queuing, and the while locker system is complex (and expensive at 7€ for small and 9€ for a large locker). Sunbeds have to be paid for and there's limited shaded areas. The concrete area in the middle is black/grey is was scolding hot. It was burning children's feet. The queues on the slides we slow, particularly the tow middle slides. We waited 45 minutes to have our go. Staff were just slow in getting the next person on. They were waiting for the previous person to exit the pool before getting the next person ready!! Everyone in the queues were getting frustrated. It's sold its soul to Fast Pass so that's another added frustration to the queues. It really isn't fair to the hundreds of other guests that queue for ages. Get rid of fast pass and concentrate on improving customer experience for everyone. Unfortunately there was a power cut in the Alcudia area at 2.45pm and that was the end of that. They dont refund due to circumstances beyond their control but offered tickets to return (which was no good as we departed Mallorca the next day). We did have 2 kids with food allergies and having emailed the Waterpark the day before, they quickly responded and said we could take a small packed lunch for each of them, so that was well received. Drinks and food on site seemed nice but expensive, although the Pizzas were only 6.50€. Although with a power cut, they weren't able to use the tills so no one could eat or drink anything. Best invest in a generator for the tills at least!! There was no information or announcements to anyone during the power cut. Hundreds of people were in the wave pool waiting for the waves and at 3.20pm, everyone was booing. It was only when lifeguards changed the wave starting time back 30 minutes that everyone got out, headed to the bars and restaurants, to then find out there was a power cut. Worrying to think how they would deal with a major incident in the park when they didn't manage this situation well at all. For me, this park is good for kids up to about 10 years old, after that, you're best to go to the bigger waterpark near Magaluf.

The park itself is great fun but it’s run by sharks. Pre-booked and arrived early for 11am start in September. When we got to the front of the queue, were asked if we lived in Mallorca. Said no and were told we’d have to pay the same amount again to get in as we’d bought residents only tickets. I understood the booking email, and information on the website regarding this booking to mean the price was indeed for residents AND those who book online. The wording is not very clear. I told the guy where to stick it, I wasn’t particularly kind to him but neither did he show any understanding. I walked out with my family and a 9 year old in tears. So, not too long afterwards, we decided to bite the bullet and just pay to get in; we’d driven for 90 minutes to get there after all. Whilst queuing to pay, I over heard the same guy letting another family, who’d done the same thing, through for no more money. When I questioned him, he basically said that they had a better story than me and they were nicer to him so they get to go in for no extra payment. It turns out plenty of other people had made the same mistake and when I mentioned this, I was told “that’s cos people are trying it on”. I explained that I thought he was wrong, not this many people would do that and it was actually because the wording was far too ambiguous. Everything about this place is about how much money they can get out of each visitor, it’s really a disgraceful place but it’s got pull power for the kids so you suck it up and you go. That’s it. Shocking.

As we were staying at Hotel Club Mac on the opposite side of the road and had included access here - we'd have been daft not to come. With two young boys, this place was heaven for them. Great free WiFi was good for the parents! The kids had their favourite slides which they kept doing over and over again - as well as the hourly trip to the big wave machine pool. With this being in the dieing days of the season, there were hardly any people here and thus - no queues for any rides, happy days. Plenty of attentive life guards, although at least one was a bit over zealous with the whistle. She barely gave anyone more than a second to surface from the splashdown before she hit the whistle and gestured the non-offending individual to get out the way. Honestly, patience was lacking massively with that guard and as a result, her cry-wolf whistling meant she was ignored even more. Another lifeguard at the top of the two-person tyre drop really needs to have a word about doing a kick to the inflatable as it goes on its way. She caused ours to spin which meant my 10yr olds foot scraped all the way down the slide. He was crying out in pain and hobbled out the pool. He never rode it again, even though it was his favourite. That's a dropped star. I won't mention the affront of being charged €5 for a lounger (but that'sthe other dropped star).

We visited this water park as a family of four – two adults and two children (ages 6 and 10) – and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We paid €119 in total, which included tickets for two adults (€30.95 each) and two children (€24.95 each). For that price, the experience simply didn’t deliver.

There are other water parks in the same price range that offer far more attractions, better entertainment (like dolphin shows, artificial dinosaurs, or interactive zones), and a more family-oriented experience. This one felt basic and not worth the cost.

One of the biggest issues was the limited access for younger children. Our 6-year-old was only allowed on a few slides, yet his ticket cost only €5 less than an adult’s. That hardly seems fair – a child who can use maybe 20–30% of the attractions shouldn’t be paying almost full price.

Another unfair aspect is the lack of a discounted ticket for adults who are only accompanying their children. I personally don’t enjoy water slides and didn’t use any during our visit, yet I had to pay the full adult price. It would make much more sense to offer a lower-priced “accompanying adult” option.

The wave pool was also disappointing. It only runs for 10 minutes every two hours, and there’s no posted schedule anywhere, so you don’t know when to expect it. We stood waiting for a long time with our kids, thinking it would start soon, only to find out by asking staff that the waves weren't scheduled for another hour. This should be clearly communicated.

The splash zone with water fountains for younger children is also only open for two hours a day – from 12:00 to 14:00 – which is very limited, especially considering how few attractions are suitable for younger kids.

On top of that, many slides require inflatable tubes or rafts, but the park doesn’t provide nearly enough. We had to wait in long lines just to get one, which slowed everything down and caused more frustration than fun.

One specific slide, shaped like a snake, had a particularly poorly thought-out system. Only one person is allowed to start climbing the stairs after the previous person has completed the entire ride. This creates huge delays, with everyone standing around waiting not just for the slide itself, but also for each person to climb up and then go down one at a time. Very inefficient.

There’s also a locker system that we found inconvenient. You have to pay €7 extra for a small locker, which isn’t included in the ticket price. The lockers work with a six-digit code that you have to remember throughout the day. While it’s not extremely difficult, it does add unnecessary mental pressure, especially when you’re managing kids and trying to relax.

Overall, our visit left us frustrated and disappointed. The pricing is not family-friendly, the organization is poor, and the lack of communication and planning really took away from what should have been a fun day. We would not return or recommend this park unless major improvements are made – both in terms of value and...

This waterpark has fast and thrilling waterslides that are very fun to ride, but the park is let down by some of the dumb lifeguards and greedy wave pool worker. The lifeguards at the top of the slides are the dumb ones I'm referring too. They really make everything so slow by sending sliders down even with spare spaces for more people which are just left unattended. They take ages sending people down. Also I'd highly recommend fast track for €15 per person as there are non-existent fast track queues and queues normally take ages for non fast track sliders thanks to the lifeguards atop of the slides. Also the queueing system to enter the park is divided into 2 queues, the ticket bookers and the ticket payers on the day and basically everyone books tickets so I'd highly recommend not bookng tickets in advance. Now for the wave pool, at 13:00 the wave pool was set to run and also as shown by a clock above the wave pool back wall that shows when the waves will release. There was then an announcement saying that there was a technical issue but it was fixed so instead of just delaying it until about 14:00, they delayed it until 16:00. So anyway, we all get in at 16:00 and then the wave pool operator moves the clock forward an hour saying that the waves will now release at 17:00 and same thing happens at 17:00, it's delayed until 18:00 and bear in mind the park shuts at 18:00. Oh and non of this was explained as an announcement as done previously 1 time, it's all a scandal so you stay longer and spend more money on drinks, snacks, etc. There are also frequent closures of all waterslides that can last up to 30 mins like it did today. (Also when I mention waterslides I also refer to the orange and white U shaped rubber ring thing even though it's not technically a waterslide) The park gets a 2 star not 1 because the slides are still very fun, the food is actually delicious and the lifeguards are very helpful with non-swimmers that may sink at the bottom of slides. Forgot to mention, the lifeguards said I cannot wear a shirt despite there being half of the park wearing them? I needed to wear it as I have very bad sunburn. I was denied to wear it by all approaching lifeguards. Swimming Goggles are permitted on all slides expect the orange and white U shaped rubber ring thing which Isn't too bad.

Extra info: Queues: roughly 40 mins - 1 hour depending on the slides

I'd recommend not storing sliders / swimming shoes at the wave pool as...

I recently had a disappointing experience at Hydro Park that I feel compelled to share. While we entered the park quickly and found some empty sun loungers, we were surprised to discover that they cost €5 for the day. When you factor that in with the admission price, a family of four is looking at a total of €120 right off the bat.

The real frustration began when we queued for one of the six main slides. The waiting times were excessive, and the fast pass system only exacerbated the situation. It felt unfair to see people cutting in line simply because they were willing to pay an additional €15 per person. This system seems to prioritize profit over the visitor experience, leaving many guests feeling frustrated and undervalued. I read other reviews online, hoping to find some reassurance, but many echoed my sentiments, stating that the fast pass system does not enhance the experience but rather adds to the overall frustration.

The staff, labeled as "lifeguards," did not inspire confidence. They seemed more focused on rushing guests out of the water than ensuring safety. I noticed that even after exiting a slide, I was quickly whistled at to clear the area, which only contributed to the long wait times for everyone as the next person had to wait for me exiting the water. The lifeguards appeared to lack the necessary management skills, which made the situation feel chaotic and stressful.

On a positive note, the food pricing was reasonable, but that still added another €50 to our total, bringing our day’s expenses plus a few drinks to around €245, especially since the only outside food allowed is bottled water. Additionally, while enjoying family time in the wave pool, we were approached by photographers eager to take our picture for an extra €10, which felt intrusive.

Overall, Hydro Park gave the impression of being more focused on extracting money from visitors rather than providing a pleasant day out. If you have young children under six, the kids' slides are a decent option without long waits or a fast pass system, which was a small relief. Thankfully, there was no parking fee (yet) for our visit.

I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements for future guests. An also adding a few more new additions to the park as the area seems to be outdated and lacking some thrilling slides.

Ow and wear slippers because the floor is scorching hot 🔥far from ideal for kids

I would never come here again...
