Personal Experience: 5 days Course package for 2 persons: me (intermediate level) and my wife (the first time experience) CRITIC SAFETY ISSUES: the board leash snapped when a wave hit me; The school gave me another board + leash. I didn’t even get back to the water, because I noticed the leash was half cut in one place and multiple other small cuts along its length. I was quite disappointed and went back to the center showing them the leash. I checked randomly other boards from their renting stock and I was stunned: the first two boards checked were with the same cut issues. UNACCEPTABLE!!! before entering the water, we were not presented the risky zones in the water, where the currents are pushing or pulling offshore, if there are big rocks or to tell us which are the shore Reference lines. These info should be provided by default not on a student request. COURSE EXPERIENCE: TRAINING SKILLS – There seemed to be room for improvement from a professional standpoint. ORGANIZATION: The training area, which accommodated up to two groups simultaneously (5-7 people per group), felt a bit crowded and might benefit from more space or might be organized on a beach. It is given only one board per group and every student is waiting for his turn, to exercise a few minutes the basic surf moves. Other surf schools are having these steps done on the beach with a lot of space, everyone having his own board, and practicing many times before going in the water. Having a single trainer in the water responsible for supporting 5-7 people seemed challenging due to the group size. 2 persons at least are needed for student's help, tips, feedback especially that is a rocky beach not a sand one (where the student can handle it more easy). CLASSES STRUCTURE: There was no warm-up or stretching routine at the beginning or end of the classes. For a person which is subscribed for a 5 days Lessons Pack, is really annoying for him to be grouped every day with other new persons subscribed for one day Training. The information is repeated every time, you have to wait for the new persons to repeat a few times the moves, to learn them; Additionally, there wasn't any incorporation of balance or mobility exercises in the training. COMMUNICATION: There seemed to be some limitations in English vocabulary, so it might be helpful to inquire about the trainer's language proficiency beforehand. SERVICES: shower and toilet available and clean; it was offered sun cream (if needed) and hot tea at the end of lesson sessions. Personal Surf Pictures are also included, but only in exchange of a Google review at the end of first session. No parking Bicycle racks available (only available at 200m). GENERAL IMPRESSIONS: I found the multiple day classes somewhat lacking in introducing new or specialized information or exercises. It appeared that there was a focus on quantity rather than quality. After attending two days of lessons, I chose to discontinue the course and requested a refund for the remaining three days. However, my request was not accommodated. Instead, I was offer to buy things from the store or rent the surf equipment for the curses value. After requesting this, we were asked, strangely, to keep our Race Bicycle somewhere else, even though, we were promised in the beginning that we can keep them safe in their room during the surf lessons, for every day. We choose this school because of its high rating score + the review numbers. I understood later, that this was not the real picture, most of the ratings being given by the students for the pictures service offered. In the interest of improvement, I shared this feedback with the school staff on our final surf day and expressed my big concerns for the...

We just had an unforgettable family surf lesson and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff at the shop was welcoming and helpful. They gave us a thorough lesson indoors with detailed instructions that really prepped us for the water. Although the walk to the beach was a bit challenging with the heavier boards, it was all worth it once we get to the beach.

Our instructor, Francesco, was outstanding, explaining everything clearly about how to get into the water safely and ensuring everyone felt secure. Each of us, from the kids to the adults, got a chance to catch waves—initially with help from the instructor and later on our own. For those of us who found it tricky, the instructor was right there to assist, ensuring everyone had a great time.

We spent around two hours in the water, which was the perfect amount of time to enjoy catching a few waves without feeling rushed. After surfing, we headed back to the shop where we could rinse off and warm up with some delicious tea and biscuits. It was a nice touch to relax and look at the photos of our surfing adventure.

Highly recommend this experience for any family looking to have fun and bond over an exciting new challenge. The staff makes you feel safe and supported every step of the way. A total blast and a memorable outing...

We were able to easily book a lesson just a day in advance, which was very convenient. Upon arriving at the shop, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and kind staff. The experience began with us getting suited up in wetsuits, followed by clear and helpful basic instructions. Afterward, we did a brief warm-up on the beach. The waves that day were ideal for beginners like us, and throughout the lesson, we received constructive feedbacks on the attempts. This helped us understand exactly what we needed to improve. At the end of the session, we were given a detailed analysis based on pictures taken during the lesson, along with "homework" tips on how to avoid common mistakes and continue improving. This personalized attention really made a difference! A special thanks to our amazing instructors, Edgars and Marcelo. As a complete beginner, I was able to stand up on the board several times, and the whole experience was both fun and educational. If I ever go back to Tenerife, I will definitely return for another lesson. It was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to...

Had a private surf lesson for 2. Myself and my 8 year old daughter. *Great location- easy access as we are staying in a hotel 8min drive away the taxi drops you 2mins away. The beach is then a 2 min easy walk from there. *Theory to start. Time given to review safety and pop up techniques. Very knowledgeable and friendly teaching style. *Heads up. In the ocean waves are same as a decent day at Newquay-- but it is rocky! You are given Reef shoes to surf in and how to walk on it and fall in is covered in the briefing. *Teaching. It's helped me refine my pop up skills with some analysis of how I currently do it. Really encouraging nd reassuring being out there with your coach. *Kids. High fives to the coaches awesome attitude towards children. My daughter loved how kind he was and how he spoke to her. *photo analysis. I was a bit apprehensive of photos of me getting wiped out. However it was really useful to see the shapes my body was making that I struggled to visualise. Definitely recommend this surf school. Great set up. Awesome instructor.

Amazing surf, surfskate, skate shop. The staff is so nice and the service is wonderful. Being owned by Kristine (Latvian) they offer lessons in English, Spanish, Russian, Latvian and I think even a bunch of other languages. It was so cool. The groups were never too big and they were open and flexible about our bookings of surf lessons. We’ve had lessons from Kristine, Edgars and Tiko. They are all incredibly good and energetic. They take the time for you and make sure to have a camera man ready during the surfing so that you can look at points of improvement afterwards. They give you a little homework to do before the next lesson to save you time adjusting in the water. The store staff is helpful and super nice. Not to forget about Pincho, the surf point mascot dog! Cute and calm as always he is always ready for cuddles! We’ve had a wonderful time and are already looking for flights back to this beautiful island and surf heaven!
