Museu de la Música de Barcelona — Attraction in Barcelona

Interesting museum, showcasing various musical instruments from around the world, some very unusual or beautifully decorated. There is a space near the exit where visitors can try some of the instruments, including a harp and a cello, which I find great. However, it would greatly benefit from more explanations, especially for the more exotic pieces. For example, an interactive screen where visitors could see and hear a demo of some of the instruments. I saw in one of the comments that this is available through the audio guide or via some Spotify playlists, which is a great idea, but not really advertised (or I didn't see it anyway). The access should also be better signaled, the museum entrance is tucked away behind a column and...

This place deserves to be known by more people! It is not a huge museum, but it has an amazing collection of instruments. And it only costs €6!

From old harpsichords to modern pianos, and from vintage guitars to today's ones, the museum shows how instruments have evolved over time. A must-visit for classical music lovers.

Great place! As a musician myself I really appreciated the fact that this kind of collection exists, and the fact that I have had a chance to see it myself is fascinating! I believe that any person would find something interesting for themselves here, so definitely would recommend visiting. There is even a room where you can play some of the instruments you are able to see in the exhibition! Nice staff, nice place and a nice atmosphere....
