Terrible organization and customer service. I bought a ticket to Valencia from Barcelona on Omio. Bus was Alsa. I arrived at this station early. Valencia was not listed on the Destination list board. We met other people waiting and confused. We waited for it to show up and then I went to customer service. I took pictures to show customer service. Customer service took almost 40 minutes. They said we missed the bus while waiting on them and had me buy tickets for the next available bus. We waited again. Valencia was once again not on the Destination board. I immediately went back to customer service. Valencia is listed as Albacate on the Destination board. The ticket says Valencia only. How is someone supposed to know this automatically? It is a stupid system. I was not the only one waiting it turned out. Other people were apparently also confused and had to pay for new tickets behind us.

The first set of tickets I bought were through an app called Omio. The second tickets I bought were using the machine at the bus station based on what customer service told me. Customer service didn't even tell me that the information I needed to know and I would have missed the second bus if I had to wait in line to ask for help. I was lucky someone let me quickly cut to ask. If the tickets you purchase say Valencia as the main option to click then the Departure name should show that too. Even if it's Valencia-Albacate. I haven't yet had this issue at any other station of about 20 I've been on. The other couple from Columbia behind us said the same thing that also missed their bus and was treated bad by...
Read moreThe station is extremely dangerous in the night. There are thieves everywhere. They tried to steal my bag twice. In the time I was there I knew from 3 different people that they were stole and the guards from there didn't care at all!!! They said to them to fill a form to report the theft...
You can stay the night inside the station but most of the people who stay are not even passengers waiting for a bus... They are homeless people sleeping inside and the odor is unbearable to stay inside. So, if you have to wait for the bus until the.morning PLEASE sleep in a hostel or something, it isn't worth to stay the night there to save the money of an hostel.
Other thing, between 5:30 am and 8:30 am are the most dangerous hours because it's the time where they steal more bags. So, even if your are waiting for your bus in the station or you are descending or boarding a bus DO NOT take away the eye from your belongings.
One of my worst...
Read moreMy girlfriend's bag was stolen in this station. In one second it was on the chair next to us, and in the next second it wasn't. It seems many thieves gather together in that station, as we saw a number of people there staying inside early in the morning without any luggage. One of the bystanders was laughing and saying it was our fault we got stolen (I'm not exaggerating, as ludicrous as it may seem). All security guards were OUTSIDE THE STATION when we were stolen. And once we reported to them, they did absolutely nothing to help. My conclusion is that these guards are in collusion with the thieves, as they did not even ask for the tickets (or the documents) of the suspicious bystanders without luggages or backpacks. Ah, and of course. None of the security guards speak English, even though Barcelona Nord is an international...
