Meeting Point Cafe — Restaurant in Benalmádena

Excellent atmosphere. The customer service was warm, with every member of staff showing appreciation for customers to be there. The two times I visit this place it was mainly to work on my laptop, which was very convenient. I strongly recommend this place, if you are looking friendly cafe with WiFi.

April 3rd 2024 - Update Unfortunately, my family and I experienced one of the most unfriendly customer experiences in the evening of Monday, 1st April 2024, at the Meeting Point Cafe. Thus, it is extremely unusual for such a place that I have rates five stars every time I visit. The two young ladies were cold and unhelpful, especially smaller ones. I tried asking if they speak English, and they are reluctant to respond. They looked as if they were having a bad day and decided to pass this on to us. Honestly, what was that?

We walked in hungry and hopeful. Left confused and frustrated.

First of all — it took ages for a waiter to come to our table. We just sat there waiting, trying to catch someone’s eye, while staff kept walking past. Not exactly the warmest welcome.

Then the food. The menu picture clearly shows five dumplings. So naturally, both I and my friend ordered five each. But what did we get? TWO. Just two. In one single plate. For both of us. Are you serious?

And it wasn’t just the number — the filling wasn’t even what we ordered. It was something completely random, not listed anywhere in the menu. Like someone just threw whatever was left into the dough.

The milkshake was another joke — tasted like it had zero milk in it. More like a melted ice slush with sweet syrup.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was just too much. Slow service, misleading photos, wrong food, and no care whatsoever.

So usually If i sit in it's because I enjoy the lovely atmospheric calm of music and saff. The cafe is true to its name great meeting point for connecting with friends/ meetings . If I take away without a second thought I ALWAYS take slice of carrot cake as it's on point very tasty . Today they were all out ( no suprise ) so I decided to try the coconut tart . My people if you like coconut and pie I highly recommend you try ! Moist, full of flavor and so hidden and under rated in that lovely cake display case ! It definitely exceeded my expectations as far as a good coconut pie should taste .
