Artxanda viewpoint — Attraction in Bilbao

A wide angle of Bilbao. The city can be easily appreciated and the Valley in which it lays is full of green. Perfect for picture taking and social media.

The Guggenheim museum, the Nervión river, San Mamés and much more can be easily seen from up top.

A joyful ride all the way up to the Artxanda viewport. A lot of green not only in the view, but all the way through. There was no problem getting there, no problem in parking. Don't worry if it is raining, because the weather is very temperamental and can change suddenly.

The viewport's park is very clean and well maintained. The Artxanda viewport is s must see... You haven't gone to Bilbao if you haven't seen it...

A must if you are visiting Bilbao and have the time. You can walk there, but there is a fenicular railway (3.60 euros return) only a short walk from the city centre. Trains every 15 minutes from just after 7 in the morning to 10 at night. Best on a dry clear day which we luckily had. Great views over the city and the valley with the airport, especially as the planes flew in.

El Mirador de Artxanda es uno de los lugares más emblemáticos de Bilbao, ofreciendo una vista panorámica inigualable de la ciudad y sus alrededores. En días claros, la vista es impresionante, con el cielo azul contrastando con el verde de los montes y el brillo metálico del Guggenheim. En días nublados, la niebla añade un toque misterioso al panorama.

El mirador también cuenta con varias áreas para relajarse y disfrutar de la vista, así como con esculturas que enriquecen la visita. El acceso se facilita con un funicular histórico, que en sí mismo es una atracción, proporcionando un viaje pintoresco hasta la cima.
