I was just walking by and the incredible smell wafting through the neighborhood lured me in.
Right away the place reminded me of the old-school corner joints from when I was a kid. Place has 2 tables -- 4 tops -- and a small counter area. The host was very friendly, surprisingly had good English skills -- thank you for that -- and hot my order out quickly. They were busy with lots of take - out.
Had the Salcacinni? with caramelized onions and it came out with a perfect blister to the crust edge and the flavors were superb -- piping hot too. The onions really complimented the meat and the tomato sauce was not overpowering, allowing the quality ingredients to shine. The two gentlemen making the pies take pride and don't rush them in the oven. Great pies!!
I definitely consider this the best pizza I've EVER had in Spain. Not even close. And I'd put this particular pizza in my Top 10 EVER. It's really that good. The place may be small but they know what they're doing with these pies with big flavors. Thank you for the good...
