Playa de Illetes — Attraction in Calvià

Playa Illetas is located on the southwest coast of Mallorca in the resort of Illetas in the municipality of Calvia between Portals Nous and Cala Mayor about 10 kilometers from Palma.

The 200-meter stretch of white-sand beach with calm, blue waters reminiscent of the Caribbean can get crowded in the summer.

Due to the relatively limited space, there are no other water sports options apart from a few pedal boats and SUP . In the restaurants and barsYou can get simple and delicious food right on the beach, while you will find a larger selection of food and drinks on the edge of the bay and in the side streets.

Playa Illetas is easily accessible by car by taking the Illetas exit off the MA-1 motorway between Palma and Andratx and following the road signs to the town. Parking can be difficult to find in this tiny, crowded area .

It is best to use the paid parking spaces on the street or, if you come early enough, the small parking lot on the beach.

What a beach! Stunning views and friendly staff at the cliff top bar. If you buy from this bar they will give you a ticket to use the bathroom for free otherwise it’s a couple euro. The atmosphere here is chilled and happy people/locals all around. The sea is amazing to swim in and small fish can be seen in the clear water. There are a lot of children but no problems for us. The beach is very neat and the water is clean. Parking is located just above the beach, it is very crowded so it is best to arrive as early as possible to find a place. Parking is paid in two parts, one part of the day is free. Parking for motorcycles is also provided and is free, but there is also a lot of traffic.
