We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Castillo de la Concepción in Cartagena, and I must say it was an experience that left us awe-inspired. This historic fortress, perched atop the Cerro de la Concepción, not only offers a captivating journey through time but also provides breathtaking panoramic views of the charming city below.

Upon entering the castle grounds, we were immediately struck by the impressive preservation of the site. Spectacular views of Cartagena and nice museum. If you are not doing a guided tour, highly recommend purchasing the 4, 5 or all inclusive pass/voucher that will get you into multiple or all attractions, as it makes it less complicated to visit the major attractions. The Cartagena multi passes are found on the Puerto de Culturas website. With the multi attraction/voucher pass, the Roman Theater and Museum only come together, and count as 2 attractions. I thought that by purchasing the online multi-pass we wouldn't have to wait in line at all, but we did have to wait in line at the elevator going up to the castle. Tour guides also get to jump in front of everyone standing in line to go up the elevator. I think we ended up waiting in line for the elevator about 15 minutes. I would have preferred to just walk up to the castle, but we were trying to save energy for everything that we wanted to see. Начну сразу с того что мы не планировали помещение этой якобы смотровой площадки, потому не были подготовлены к такому разводу. Были мы в Картахене в пятницу 20 августа 2022 года. Находились рядом, вышли из музея подводной археологии и решили пройти в этот замок. На входе к лифту стоит киосок с сотрудником , который впаривает билеты. Мы взяли билет за 4.5 евро, в который входит посещение замка и индивидуальный подъём на панорамном лифте!!!🤣На ребёнка 9 лет стоимость 3.5 евро. "Панорамный" лифт окружён двойной сеткой из металла и железной винтовой лестницей, плюс в некоторых местах встречаются железные пластины . Это снижает и без того отсутствующую видимость. Подъём длится 30 секунд, с одной стороны гора на которую вы поднимаетесь, с другой стороны дома и другая гора. В течении 3 секунд мелькает кусочек моря- это все виды что вы успеваете посмотреть . Кстати, чуть дальше от лифта есть железная лестница для самостоятельного подъёма по горе. И , не доходя до лифта, есть более приличная лестница из бетона для поднимания на гору - она более безопасная. И бесплатная!!! И виды не хуже!!!!! Итак: наверху есть несколько павлинов, но они всё без хвостов!!! Худые, облезлые павлины! У одного из них есть потомство: 3 птенца. Есть пруд с утками. Подходим к замку 🤦. На входе сидит страж который проверяет наличие билетов!!!! Дорога по замку занимает 1 минуту и заканчивается в магазине сувениров!!!!! За что мы заплатили????? Идём дальше на смотровую площадку. Которая по периметру ниже обнесена крышей, закрывающей весь обзор!!!! Есть один уголок, в котором виден кусочек моря, и в этом. Тут толпятся все кто здесь находится, так как только здесь можно сделать более менее панорамное фото. С другой стороны виден кусочек амфитеатра, с другой - вид на город. И это всё. И тут пришло окончательно понимание что нас жестоко и грубо обманули и развели на деньги. Советую съездить в Аликанте и подняться на гору Санта-Барбара, заплатив по 1 или 2 евро за посещение замка и всех залов плюс подъём на лифте, и получить шикарные видовые пейзажи и фото. Мне жаль потраченных денег и времени на Castillo de la Concepción. Кстати, во время нашего помещения наверх прибыл частный автомобиль. Видимо можно подниматься и на авто...либо это кому-...
