Mirador Placeta de Carvajales — Attraction in Granada

Great lookout point if you wanna avoid the really big groups of tourists and vendors etc, like you see at the Mirador San Nicolás. The latter is more beautiful (because you cannot only see the Alhambra but also the breathtaking mountains behind it), but I prefer the Mirador de los Carvajales because it's much more tranquil. It's also less high up, so you are not as tired...

Mirador de Los Carvajales is an easier trek up from the valley than San Nicolas but you won’t see the Sierra Nevada mountains in the background but this vista still offers fine views of the Alhambra Palace. I wanted some evening shots from San Nicolas but the missus wasn’t having it, “I’ve got tourist legs!”...

Lovely spot with a perfect view of La Alhambra. It is a very quiet spot, surrounded by the most known carmenes of Granada. It is hidden within the labyrinth of Albaicin streets. I must say it is a bit lonely and isolated (out of "peak" hours). There are a couple of water fountains to drink from or to fill...
