Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant as a group was disappointing. We had a large party and communicated this clearly when making the reservation, but it became apparent that the restaurant was not well-prepared to accommodate us. Communication was difficult—not only due to my limited Spanish, but mostly because of the attitude of the staff. The lady in charge of our table was quite rude. For example, when I asked for water for the entire table and mentioned that some guests might want wine, she immediately started removing the wine glasses in a dismissive way.

We had a group menu, which is understandable given our size. The starter and dessert were actually very good. For the main course, we had four options. The steak was excellent, and the other meat dishes were also well-prepared. However, the service was disorganized. One dish was incorrectly entered by the staff, and one guest had to wait a very long time for their meal. When we asked about it, they said they would check—but the issue was never resolved properly. Our friend only received their food after most of us had already finished eating wich resorted in the side dishes that had to be shared where cold. Another guest received a completely different dish than they ordered, but we only realized this too late because of the language barrier.

The biggest issue was with the fish dish. While we understand this is primarily a meat restaurant, the way the fish was served was unacceptable—it was not cleaned properly, with scales and even intestines still on the plate. When we brought this up to the waitress, she said she would inform her manager, but we never heard anything more about it. No apology, no compensation, and this happened to four guests who had ordered the same dish.

The menu also included coffee, but at 10 PM we were told it was too late to get coffee—even though our reservation was only at 8 PM.

One positive note: there was a waitress who spoke a little English and really made an effort, which we truly appreciated. Also, the unlimited drinks (wine, beer, soft drinks, water) were a good deal for the price.

Overall, it’s a shame that the service fell so short, because the food—especially the meat—had a lot...

On our first day in Granada, I was really craving steak for some reason, so my friend and I decided to try walking into a few popular, highly rated restaurants without a reservation. We ended up at this one — and honestly, it was the best decision ever!

I’m not usually a big steak person, so I don’t know much about the different cuts of meat and all that. Thankfully, our waiter was absolutely amazing — super friendly, spoke excellent English, and started off by explaining the menu in detail.

We ordered the old cow txuletón croquettes to start, and they were absolutely delicious! We also got sangrias (since we’re not big wine drinkers), and they were great. For the main course, my friend and I ordered the Finnish Ayrshire Cow to share, and oh my goodness — it was so, so, so good! 😩 We had it cooked medium, and the beef was incredibly tender and juicy. I’m getting hungry just writing this review, lol.

We also ordered the grilled cauliflower as a side dish, and it was delicious too — it came with a unique tangy sauce that paired perfectly with the steak, in my opinion. We finished the meal with the brownie ice cream dessert, which was the perfect ending.

Overall, 10/10 — highly...

Called in after a visit to the Alhambra to book an evening meal. Welcomed at arrival at 19.50pm but asked to wait and return at 20.00 when they opened. No issue, there were shops and bars nearby to keep us busy. Manager, server and chef knew their business well from goodly variety of cuts of various aged beef, wine pairings, accompaniments and all cooked or served to perfection. We ate artichoke with bacon cream and foix gras starters, then slow grilled beef cheeks and rib eyes steak. Absolutely gorgeous but portions are very generous, we couldn't manage dessert. Meats are priced according to weight and beef breed. Price point 2 courses for two, including a bottle of wine circa €120. Good seating and lighting, ambient atmosphere. Excellent condition service. We'd...

Tasty experience, make a reservation, meat cut had too much fat/gristle for the price (expensive) A small restaurant specializing in in-house, dry aged steaks. You can see the meats in the glass walled coolers to see what you are ordering. The host will explain each type of steak, its aging and flavor profile. A complimentary appetizer, a shot of spicy, roasted carrot soup was unique, tasty. Sides we chose were a nice, mixed greens salad in vinaigrette and grilled vegetables (bell peppers, onions, egg plant, squash, and mushrooms done perfectly. We chose the Cantabrian Pinto Beef. Nicely seasoned, perfectly seared, tender and flavorful. Disappointed in the amount of meat, even though we saw the cut before it was cooked..... there was quite a bit of fat and gristle on the cut.
