Plus side, great products with locally made products (except a couple of perfume ranges and they do tell you which of those are not local).
They have scents I haven't found in the UK which is a rare treat. I bought some oils and the Kessa soap tin and almond for a body scrub treat. I usually make my own but I can't make them how they do, so that's nice, tried it after I got back and very good quality. You do pay a higher price but it is worth it.
The shop is in a lovely old building that has been renovated extremely well and is lovely and clean.
My only complaint with this place is the over-eager in your face sales ladies. It reminds me of why I don't go into Lush stores. There is nothing wrong with being keen and trying to be helpful but someone coming to you every 2 minutes and jumping in to a private conversation is a big customer service no no for me. I want to chill and observe and decide - I nearly walked out without buying because of this. It may be just a typical brit thing so I don't hold that against them. If it weren't for that I would have gone full 5 star. They are...
Read moreThe Patio is a must visit place when you go to Granada, Spain. I had a lovely shopping experience there. They have the most unique perfumes and they are all exclusive to Spain featuring rare and natural ingredients. I purchased the Eau de Cologne 100 ml bottle of Romancero. I found out that was the newest fragrance they had at the time I went. The sales woman even gave me a free spray bottle with my purchase as the perfume comes in a bottle and you transfer the liquid in the bottles of your choice. The scent is very different and wears like perfume! A few sprays lasts a very long time! They also have a museum and a beautiful patio within the establishment where you can have tea, drinks and light snacks. They also offer oils, soaps, Hammam paste for bath, Attar and incense all made from scratch! The price was very good considering that after she poured the perfume in the spray bottle, there is still a whole other bottle left! I would go back here again as you won’t find these fragrances anywhere else and people ask me what I’m wearing and where can they get it. I have to tell them...
Read moreCame upon Patio by chance when walking Carrera del Darro and I ended up spending at least an hour in there enjoying all the scents and products, the museum, the patio upstairs! The "make your own perfume" sign caught my eye but I learned the perfumist was in Paris at the time. You can make your own face mask too. Everything was gorgeous - definitely take some time to sit up on the beautiful patio which is so peaceful and picturesque. I forgot the workers' names when I was there but they were so sweet, patient and helpful while I was making my decision on which to purchase. I ended up buying the Higuera room scent and Granata perfume, both were so unique. Then came back the next day before I left Granada to buy two of their roller perfumes as gifts, since I saw shipping to the US was $47! This store is only in Granada and I wish shipping was cheaper so I could buy more! I bought what I thought could fit in my carry on, because most products there are travel friendly. Everything made it back home with me in one piece and now I'll have lovely reminders of my time in Granada....
