Llevo veraneando toda la vida en Guardamar y nunca me había acercado a esta playa a darme un baño. Esta semana santa es la primera vez que he estado y la verdad que tiene muchísimo encanto. No sé como será en verano pero estos días, poca gente, la arena limpia, el agua trasparente y genial para pasear... Muy recomendable también realizar el paseo que discurre por la zona trasera de la playa y que termina en el pantalán del puerto deportivo.

Es una de las playas próximas al río Segura en Guardamar del Segura, (de ahí su nombre). Desde el verano pasado, el ayuntamiento está haciendo en ella, obras de acondicionamiento, mejorando el uso y disfrute de la misma. Cuando estoy allí, me gusta recorrerla desde la playa de Babilonia hasta el espigón, disfrutando de sus dunas, y de la pinada que se plantó, para evitar la invasión de la arena hacia el interior.

En arrivant, on se dit TOP! Pas trop de monde, sable fin, jolies dunes bordant la plage, plage surveillée Et puis, on va se baigner….. Horrible! Des déchets de gobelets en plastiques, des restes de plastiques en tout genre se joignent à une baignade qui pourrait être sympa ☹️ On a ramassé dans l’eau l’équivalent d’un sac poubelle de déchets.

I dont know if its because we visited on the wrong day, but the beach was dirty. The water was also dirty. (The beach is a fine sand beach but with a bit of gravel) There were a lot of seaweed which I was not a fan of. Still, it is a nice place if you want to learn some of the Spanish history alongside your bathing adventures. The parking is pay-only, unless you want...
