Wonderful Mexican art. The best thing about this place is that the gallery owners can explain to you how everything is created and the stories behind them.

Some art is made by the same family that is the inspiration for the great Pixar film Coco😄. We were in the shop for a long time and had some great conversations.

We bought a smaller alebrije for our house and a larger alebrije, which is beautiful, for our upcoming daughter.😊

We kept the best for last! On our way to the airport, we stumbled upon the amazing Galeria Lamanai. What incredible Mexican art! What was most amazing was the energy of the owner. He took his time and explained all the details behind the art, including the meaning of every animal on their Mexican Zapoteca calendar, as well as the coloring and techniques using a cactus needle. He filled us with so much positive energy that our travel back home...
