Our third time here, and "as usual" was a good standard, but not amazing. Tonight (tuesday) was a very slow barman who took atleast 10 minutes to make each cocktail. Incredibly slow drinks overall. The two waitresses were good, but the short Spanish girl was exceptional. The other girl (with braids in her hair) was exceptionally slow. The food is of a very good standard overall, although not without fault. Mini Burgers amazing. Chicken Cesar Salad...amazing. tataki of Tuna Amazing!! Irish beef fillet with cauliflower puree and red wine Jeu...very good. Spicy Chicken wings could be more cooked. Nobody likes chicken on the less cooked side. The fried Camembert cheese with sauce were average at best. The cheese was cold inside. Not soft and warm as it should be anywhere else in the world. The brownie was also cold and kind of hard, again should be warm and semi soft anywhere In the world. Probably main, and biggest problem with the food here is the rediculous price and small portion of Patata Bravas (fried potatoes). Its literally a small handful (even too small for a child) at 4.90 each. Either the price needs to come down or the portion needs to grow. Possibly the most expensive French Fries anywhere I have been in the world. Way over the top and something that only hurts the business..not helps. The flavour overall in the food is excellent. The kitchen know what they are doing and deliver. It's the Staffing and pricing which are things that the owners could probably review and make better, should they choose. I will definitely go back, and I would definitely recommend the restaurant. I think more than anything the Patata Bravas need a good think through because as I said...its the only thing (and such a basic thing) that might leave you with a bad taste in terms of price/quantity. It's very,...

Arco was a dream! I hovered outside like a weirdo from 18:45 to ensure we got a seat and I'm so glad I did because it was full in absolutely no time at all! To start us off, my partner and I each had the fanciest glass of sangria we have had on the whole holiday. The pork ribs came out first and were so tender, I went to cut the portion in half to share between my partner and I and it completely fell apart on the plate. It tasted delicious! Next was the deep fried Camembert with strawberry marmalade which was piping hot when it came out and very moreish and the portion was bigger than I expected which is always a winner. This was followed by the best Tempura Prawns I have ever eaten. As you can see in the picture, I went straight into dipping it in the wasabi mayo (which, by the way, was INSANE) as I was so keen to try them. They EXPLODE in your mouth. You HAVE to order them. Next up was the Tuna Tataki which is what I was definitely most excited about to try and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Just perfect. Finally the spicy fish tacos! They were delicious and very fresh. At this point I was so full I could hardly move... but I had seen the reviews about the tiramisu in a plant pot and I had to get it. It was very light and very very tasty. It was also a lovely sized portion! Bigger than I was expecting. My partner had the chocolate brownie which was lovely and rich. The whole dinner cost us €78 which was a very reasonable price, given the quality of the food, service and atmosphere. The only teeny-tiny negative would be that the tables are quite small and they spin. Which might be ok when sat inside as you can access all of your tapas dishes; however, when sat out on the cobbly street, it made for an interesting balancing act! Thank you Arco team! We will see...

I reserved a table 2 days in advance, for 1 person. When I arrived, the table was ready and I sat down, only to see directly behind my head, about 1 foot away, a rubbish bin fixed to the wall! I moved to the second seat at the table, but then of course the rubbish bin was in my line of view! Not wanting to sit in such an environment I asked the waiter for another table. None available! I complained that as I had reserved 2 days in advance, I should have been given a better table. The reply was that everyone had reserved 2 days or so in advance, which I did not believe. We then had a pointless discussion with him saying "how do you know they didn´t reserve 2 days in advance" etc etc. He also said that nobody else had complained about the rubbish bin, really .... am I too fussy? Anyway, I thought this was very poor and told him so. I will not be going back there. If someone else wants to reserve a table, I advise you to...

Second time lucky trying to get a table and for a very good reason; this restaurant is an absolute peach! The welcome was warm but the drinks, including the lovely house Cava were cold and spot on. As for the food, we had a variety of dishes which were all cooked and served to perfection. I had the chicken and bacon Caeser salad which was up there with the best of them. As for the fish tacos, just brilliant. If you can get a table, make the most of it. Reserving a table is almost certainly recommend but we got lucky with people just leaving. Truly one of the best in the old town and for perspective, I really love my food fresh and non pretentious.

Made the journey here when visiting my sister in Marbella as it WAS one of her favourite restaurants. We were a party of 8 and luckily the inside was almost empty. The waiter moved one table, enough for 6 diners, but then disappeared. We added another small table to accommodate all 8 diners and he then became very rude and “told us off” as if we were naughty school children. At that point we felt the best thing to do was leave and spend our €500 somewhere else. It was a masterclass on how to drive customers away. A tapas bar down the road was far more accommodating and friendly and we probably had a better meal than we would have had at Arco.
