Playa Las Marañuelas — Attraction in Mogán

I don’t understand why people say on other reviews there that this beach is ‘pretty’, it’s definitely not a good looking beach. The dark sand and position doesn’t make it attractive at all. But it is convenient if you’re in Arguineguin. It’s sheltered and the water next to the beach has been artificially made calm from the tides by a barrier out to sea. Most beaches in Gran Canaria look better than this one. There is one toilet at one end of the beach, but they are a disgrace, they stink, are never cleaned, no soap or...

Lovely area. Lifeguard patrolled beach. Public bathrooms at both ends of the beach now and new walking street promenade above the beach for part of the area. 1 star is lost as half the approach to the beach is still car centric, hours for public bathrooms not posted and the public bathrooms are closed...

Beautiful small beach in the center of the town. Dark sand, clear water, not very crowded place. Shipyard is on the left side of the beach, but not disturbing at all. Ideal for families. Small shops and restaurants are around the beach, just over the street. Stunning view....
