LIVVO Monte Carrera Holiday Homes — Hotel in Mogán

We have stayed for 8 days in the room 714 at Monte Carrera and were quite satisfied with the stay. It seemed like we were the first ones to stay there after renovation (or something) because many things were just new. The kitchenette is fully equipped with stuff and we only missed cheese slicer :) Everything worked and it felt like home. We were 3 people + baby. Bed is large and comfortable in the bedroom, the sofa in the livingroom was also used for sleeping but we never tried to open it to see if it gets bigger. Plus for the baby was the big terrace - there was a lot of room for playing and walking around on the artificial grass. There was dishwasher and washing machine (forgot to take a picture of it). The area of Monte Carrera clean and taken care of. The pool has warm, comfy water and it was clean. We rented a car to take us around but otherwise there is a quite big spar supermarket in walking distance from the place where you can get everything you need. We didn't find the town itself of anything interesting so every evening we drove somewhere else to spend the evening (Maspalomas, Puerto de mogan, Amadores, Puerto Rico - enough places to choose from) but you need a car or will have...

Thoroughly disgusting treatment from apartment 1612, which cancelled my fully paid booking at the LAST MINUTE, with NO EXPLANATION OR APOLOGY. What a way to treat guests! Monte Carrera tried but failed to contact the owner of the hosting apartment. This is definitely not the way I would treat guests in my home, and paying ones at that. The extremely short notice and time of year (tourist season = high prices) meant I was forced to stay in a rubbish backwater further inland with no pool and few amenities. Monte Carrera, cut ties with this selfish and inconsiderate owner of apartment 1612 and vet apartment owners more thoroughly. Completely unacceptable and disgraceful treatment. Sólo voy a valorar las instalaciones ya que la estancia que alquilé es una explotación mediante Airbnb y no es un complejo en sí de turismo, más bien residencial con alquileres vacacionales.

Está bien situado, cerca de la playa pero siempre cogiendo el coche. Cuenta con garaje comunitario.

Las zonas comunes están muy cuidadas. La piscina está bastante limpia y da la impresión de ser tratada con clorador salino.

El único pero de la piscina es la elevada temperatura del agua, incluso aún siendo en agosto. Da la impresión de que tienen puesto el termostato aún en verano.
