Arrived just after 2pm to find almost everything closed for siesta (yes in January, it was hardly sweltering heat). Most of the shops looked pricey but we could only look through the windows. Not impressed. Stopped for lunch at Masko, which improved the day. Tapas delivered with our drinks (one tapa of tasty paella, one of "sausage rolls" -actually chorizo in sweet pastry, a small glass of water and one of orange juice ), so they charged us €2 each for the small "tubos" of beer, one pizza €4, one spaghetti carbonara ( "varios") €6 and a coffee total €15.60. Read morePhoned up late and managed to get a table “as long as we could get there by 9pm”. We were seated promptly and had drink orders taken. The main idea for going was we had heard the steak fleas good and it lived up to expectation.
One of the best steaks I have ever had and cooked perfectly. The view over Mojacar beach was lovely.
