La Marea de Puerto — Restaurant in Puerto del Rosario

I found the restaurant online and I decided to pay a visit because it has good reviews. I ended up having dinner here three times. They always serve exceptional seafood dishes. I have tried the the grilled salted prawns. Also, I ordered twice the garlic prawns. The oil itself is really good for bread dipping. Also, I tried the fried cuttlefish and fried baby squids. These are all good. I was attended by Javier. He made sure that I got seated without having to wait very long and he explained to me all the dishes he provided really excellent service. Return visit here, friendly staff, ordered a salad (tuna egg avocado tomato) Russian salad, and fried cheese with a tasty jelly, all 1/2 portions, then prawns with garlic. All food was freshly prepared and delicious, served in stages so no rush, sat outside but under canvas as weather not great. Enjoyed our food a glass of wine and the beautiful location. Will return on our next holiday :)

Another visit to here, as shopping nearby. Busy on a Saturday with locals with their families, always good to see. We enjoyed cold beers and food. Calamari, with fries and salad and fish tacos with garlic sauce. Worth a visit:) 😃

Great place. We went there after reading other reviews and we confirm, staff are nice, food is great and quantity awesome. The staff will speak little English so it is best to meet half way through and exercise your Spanish too. At last resort, get your favourite translator app ready. I had to translate Muy Hecho for the ribeye. One note: be careful of the waiter recommendations, they might not be the cheapest options.
