I recently dined at Los Pitos, and unfortunately, it was an underwhelming experience from start to finish. The entire meal left me feeling dissatisfied and regretful of my decision to visit.
Firstly, the service was incredibly slow and inattentive. We had to wait for what felt like an eternity just to get our drinks and even longer for our food to arrive. The servers seemed disinterested and lacked any sense of urgency, leaving us wondering if they even cared about our dining experience.
When the food finally did arrive, it was far from what we had anticipated. The tapas were lackluster and bland, with no distinctive flavors that one would expect from a tapas restaurant. It felt as if the dishes were hastily thrown together without any attention to taste or presentation.
Moreover, the portion sizes were disappointingly small for the price we paid. It left us feeling hungry and unsatisfied, having to consider ordering more dishes just to fill our stomachs.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also subpar. The lighting was dim, making it difficult to see the menu or our food properly. The overall atmosphere lacked warmth and charm, leaving us feeling disconnected from the dining experience.
To add insult to injury, the prices were exorbitant, considering the lackluster quality of the food and service. I expected much better value for my money.
Overall, I cannot recommend Los pitos to anyone seeking a delightful tapas experience. From the lack of attentive service to the unimpressive dishes and high prices, this restaurant falls far short of expectations. Save your money and explore other options for a more satisfying dining...
Read moreAwful experience being served completely raw food. First tapa was ok but as the restaurant filled up they were not able to cope. We were asked to order the same food as they were busy... yet they were still seating new tables. 2nd tapa came and our 8 year old child was served raw prawns, not just cold but completely uncooked. We sent that back and ordered another dish which arrived stone cold. The best bit was the owners child (about 12 years old) arguing with me that I don't understand Spanish culture, despite me being half Spanish!! Lots of people walking out as service took so long.
Overall this could be a good restaurant, but they are clearly taking on more than they can handle. Suggest they put customers before...
Read moreWe came across this restaurant by chance. We had gone to some restaurants but they were closed. We noticed the tapas menu board on the sidewalk while passing on our bikes.
This establishment is back off the main street with other bars/restaurants. It doesn't stand out only for the menu board on the sidewalk. It's more of a tourist area as it's close to the hotels.
There is a small outside covered area with seating where we sat as it was a nice day.
The friendly waitress seated us and took our "Tapas" order. Four glasses of wine. Croquetas. Chicken curry and rice. Tuna tartare. Teriyaki chicken. Hamburger. Fish.
After paying we received 2 vodka caramel shots which...
