This has been a super positive surprise during our time on Mallorca. We did not read much about this finca and did not really have any expectations. Especially after having tried and seen other fincas (oil refineries, or other crafts fincas) which were rather disappointing. But this one turned out to be a real gem. Right at the beginning, we got an explanation on how the self-guided tour work from a nice lady at the entrance - also handing us two bottles of water, since it was quite hot. We started the tour - for every tree or plant there is an info chart, explaining the details about it. You can go at your own pace and mid-tour you reach a pause-spot, where a little basket with one orange (and knife to cut it) per person is waiting for you to take a natural refreshment in the shade of orange trees. After the tour is finished, you get to sit down in the nice bistro under a big tree, being served with a selection of house-made marmelade, freshly squeezed orange juice and tomator bread, making for a light lunch - all included in the price of 12€ per person. You really can't ask for more. The staff is attentive, friendly and very helpful. The complete tour also is stroller-friendly, in case you're arriving with little children. The parking situation is a bit tricky, since you have to park on the street in front of the finca - but it was no problem finding a spot, as it's far enough outside of the city. Total...

Wonder beautiful! An absolute must! So that it is not so crowded, a reservation is necessary via the website. In addition, an entrance fee of 12 € p.p. to pay. But it is really worth it. Arrived one is received by the friendly owner, a short explanation of the ways and there is a chilled water for everyone. One is not guided but can walk independently through the farm. The first thing you see and hear here is a small chicken farm that can also be walked, for children there is also a small bucket of corn to feed. From here our hearts have already beaten high. Then it went on to the first orange trees in different varieties. A great sight with the great backdrop of the mountains in the background. There are small paths that lead you through the area, but nothing is locked and you can move freely. The different species are signposted and you can read in several languages. After a while of exploring you come to a small resting place where a handwritten note with the reservation name in the basket and fresh oranges are waiting. Then it goes on to the various types of lemons, figs and avocados. At the end you can take a seat on the terrace and get fresh wholemeal bread with tomatoes and olive oil for everyone. Subsequently, different types of jam are presented again to taste. A small store with the jams and other little things completes the thing. If my looks at everything and has no time stress, you need about 1.5-2 hours.

We were very satisfied with the service and the cordiality. Also that the farm is not open every day shows that it is not about...

This location is a hidden gem on the island!

It is a bit hidden in a small local town, but can easily be reached by car. We were nicely greeted and introduced to the location. You mainly get to walk down a trail through two plantations. Along the path you find ~60 information stations which tell you about the plants/fruits that you can see or other details of the plantation.

Kids can feed chicken in the first area. In the second area are two resting points where you can taste some of the freshly harvested oranges. At the end of the path you can sit and enjoy a majorcan snack (fresh bread with tomatoes, paprika and olives) together with fresh orange juice or lemon lemonade. As dessert you get to taste the home made marmalades. All snacks, fruits, drinks, etc. are included in the ticket price. There is also a small shop where you can buy these products and some other small gifts from the plantation.

I would highly recommend to book a ticket before...

We come to Mallorca every year and not sure how we've only just found this place. Staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Self guided tour was peaceful, calm and informative. Oranges left at resting place for us were delicious (none of us like oranges normally!). Snacks at the end were lovely, catered for gluten free, and small playground to keep children busy while we drank our OJ was a nice touch. Only thing we missed is we wanted to buy lots of the oranges from the shop at the end but unfortunately there were none for sale. I think they're missing a bit of a trick there as given how much people were enjoying the oranges they would have sold lots! Would highly recommend for families with children or couples alone. We spent 2.5 hours here and paid €60. Highly recommend.
