RESTAURANTE NACARAT — Restaurant in Sóller

Not a great experience. Arrived on time for our reservation and had to wait outside being ignored until someone came to manage the forming queue. Escorted to our table and another long wait before menus were brought and orders taken. The drinks were reasonably priced and the rose wine was lovely. The aubergine starter was tasteless and required seasoning at the table, far too many flaked almonds which added no value The veal was tender but the sauce was way to rich. The steak was cooked as requested but the chef went mad with presentation. It was overwhelming with so much contradictory flavours making it mostly inedible. The staff were trying but lacked supervision, direction and support.....

Best restaurant in Soller. Superb food and very welcoming and helpful stuff, in particular with the suggestion for choosing meal. Location is close to the main square, you will have to make reservation in advance by calling their number, because place is full and during high season is really hard to find free table, without booking one. We had fish of the day - sea bass, and it was very delicious, it comes with baked vegetables. Seafood paella with prawns was also very good choice. Ambient is cosy and nice. Big recommendation...

We were really looking forward to trying Nacarat, but it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. The waiter was shockingly rude and completely unaccommodating. We ordered the paella, which was inedible — way to “fishy” and strong, not fit to serve. The prawns were more like miniature shrimps. When we raised the issue, the staff flat-out refused to offer a replacement or even acknowledge the problem. Terrible service, poor food, and no regard for customer care. Would not...
