Amazing show, great acts & a fantastic host. All sadly let down by the lack of attention to detail & the shabbiness of the venue. A show as good as this deserves better.Your website promises an "Elegantly decorated candlelight theatre" Unfortunately this was not the case. For example, you have red velvet stage curtains with gold trim, the table cloths should match this to brighten the otherwise drab & black auditorium. Perhaps proper candlesticks / candle holders on the table, not just an old glass with a tealight in it. The Vintage posters on the walls are good but are completely lost in the darkness. No sign of any traditional magic symbols like Top Hats, Magic Wands etc These could be painted on the walls. The TV puppet Sooty was mentioned during the show, maybe a painting of him for the kids. The table number holders were broken and scratched & the numbers within had seen better days! For such a large venue the toilets were a disgrace, the Beach bars have better facilities. On arrival we were shown to the Houdini Lounge. Once again, your website promises a " Beautifully Decorated Modern Indoor Lounge " Far from it!  The foyer of our hotel looked better. The wicker furniture was well past its best & the cushions were dirty. No sign of anything magical apart from the wall posters. We did watch a staff member clean the tables without moving anything from them! That is Magic. I was drinking beer & my wife had the red wine, both were served in the same grubby wine glasses. When I asked for a lager glass I was brought an equally old & unclean pint glass. These could be replaced quite cheaply at IKEA! Table Magic was advertised! Sadly it didn't reach our table or the tables behind us. Our photograph was taken before the show then during the interval this was offered to us in the form of a key ring. We didn't want a key ring but would happily have paid for the actual photograph, sadly this wasn't offered to us. Once again , the show was spectacular & highly recommended. Work is needed to bring the rest up to the high standard of the performance & performers!! They...

Whatever you do, avoid the Broadway musical show offered at the house of illusions. This is currently run on Monday and wednesday evenings.

It advertises as different west end musicals you may be familiar with, such as Matilda, the greatest showman, back to the future, and hairspray, among others. What it actually is, though, is a collection of one or two songs from these different musicals run over the course of a 2 hour ish show.

We had only been to the house of illusions last night for their magic show, and what a great night it was, would recommend. But this was the total opposite!!

The singers were the same handful of people throughout the night, the vast majority of who unfortunately can not sing and should not be signing at all!

The music was very loud, to the point i had to cover my ears with my hands to reduce the noise (for i cannot call it anything else) emitting from the stage.

At no point did anyone notice our plight and offer earplugs or anything!! They seriously need to turn down the music volume and the microphones, because it was deafening!!

We ultimately chose to save our hearing and left the show during the break between 1st and 2nd act, in favour of watching the fountain show/display at 9pm which was far more worthwhile and completely free!!

If you expect to be compensanted for your torubles here, prepare to be disappointed!! Manager on sight did not care one bit as to our opinion, 'its just your opinion' he said!! 'I dont agree with you' he said!!! How about instead of being cocky and arogant with me you listen to your paying customers and make a change, take crtiscism, offer apologies for our experience and acknowledge the problem llike any respectable manager would do!! Of course you wont do that though, you'll continue to sell your tickets to the poor unfortunate souls who dont know any better, because all you care about is that you have our money!!

People beware, if you go to any of the others show here they will try to sell you tickets to the broadway also. DO NOT BUY UNDER ANY...

An Unforgettable Experience at House of Illusions, Salou!

My visit to House of Illusions in Salou was truly nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported into a world of mesmerizing illusions, captivating magic, and mind-bending performances. The atmosphere is vibrant and immersive, perfectly blending mystique with entertainment.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at ease right from the start. The performers are exceptionally talented — their illusions are jaw-dropping and cleverly executed, leaving us all in awe. Each act was more intriguing than the last, with a fantastic mix of magic, mentalism, and interactive illusions that kept everyone engaged and guessing.

What sets House of Illusions apart is their all-inclusive experience. The three-course meal was really excellent—delicious, well-presented, and satisfying, adding a lovely gourmet touch to the evening. And the best part? The unlimited drinks kept flowing throughout the show, ensuring everyone stayed refreshed and relaxed from start to finish. It truly made the night even more enjoyable.

The venue itself is stylish and well-maintained, providing a perfect backdrop for the incredible performances. Whether you're visiting with friends, family, or as a couple, this show offers entertainment for all ages.

Overall, I highly recommend House of Illusions in Salou for anyone looking for a unique, fun, and unforgettable night out. It’s a fantastic way to experience world-class magic, enjoy a delicious meal, and create lasting memories. I can’t...

AMAZING FANTASTIC A MUST!!!! Stop reading the review and get it booked because you will NOT be disappointed. We went to the house of illusions last night for the 6:30pm show including the 3 course meal. You are to arrive at 6pm to place your food order when checking in to get your wrist band. We went for the gold package which placed us in very good seats! We were bang central and only one table back from the stage so everything was crystal clear. The food was very good and the service perfectly executed. My wife even got a personal shoutout for her 30th bday and her desert delivered with a flare in it 🔥 We upgraded to the unlimited cocktails where we had jugs of sex on the beach, full bottle of wine and full bottle of cava. Needless to say I don’t remember getting home 🤣 The show, the main event was absolutely amazing, mind blowing and hilarious. Matt Edwards the main comedian/ magician who I actually recognised from being Ant and Decs gold buzzer act on Britain’s got talent was absolutely brilliant. So funny, so talented and made had me laughing out loud from the moment I walked in. There were 4 more magicians and 2 assistants that took part in the acts. All are incredibly talented and collectively made the best show I have ever seen. There was also close up magic at your table which was good. Do not hesitate to go here, Infact why have you got this far into my review without booking it already! You HAVE to go Enjoy 😁

I went to this show last night and WOW! I was blown away with how amazing everything was! We started by enjoying a drink on the rooftop bar before the show started, which has amazing views of Salou. We bought the Gold package, which included a 3 course meal and unlimited drinks. There was a set starter and dessert but you had a choice of three mains. All staff showed exceptional customer service. During the show one of the acts brought my partner on stage at one point to do a comedy bit, they brought us a “Happy Birthday” brownie with a sparkler and then performed a magic act on our table. It honestly felt as thought the show was made just for us. It was evident that all staff at House of Illusions in Salou are more like a family, everyone was so passionate about the magic they create. The host Matt Edward’s was brilliant and hilarious! This show was an unforgettable and outstanding treat to end our holiday and to celebrate my partners birthday! If we ever return to Salou, then we’ll be back to watch another show. I usually never write reviews but I just can’t get over how perfect the experience was! Thank you!!!!
