So, I've just visited this very busy ice cream "parlour". I asked a young guy "What's in that one" meaning what fruit was it. He didn't understand me. The tall girl there kindly answered "rum and raisin" I said "I'll have one of those please and pointed to the large cone. The guy seemed to insist by his expression that I should have a small cone. I gave in and had a small cone. He then endeavoured to scrape the remnants of the ice cream in the back of the tray rather than plunge the scoop in the front and just whacked the dregs in the cone with no finesse. He succeeded in giving me the runniest ice cream I've ever had in my life which I frantically pushed into the cone with my tongue. He didn't reply when I asked how much. He just took the five euro note and what I got back was a fifty cent coin and a one euro. I think I was short changed, and short on the ice cream and not served to my expectation. The one star is for the cone which was fresh and crisp and nothing else. The conclusion is ... Wait until you get back to your all inclusive hotel and have one of theirs. A disappointing experience to round off my last day in...

FOOD CONTAMINATION TWICE.

Unlike others I found the service to be adequate. There was a small queue in front of us but we were served promptly. The girl who served us didn't speak any English but we managed to point to our ice creams. Portions are good sizes and the ice creams taste good. So why 1 star?

The first time we visited I was eating a mint choc chip ice-cream. Whilst eating it I felt something strange in my mouth, I spat it out and found a chunk of soft black foam that had been mixed in the ice-cream. I didn't think too much about it as I'm generally easy going and continued to eat the ice cream with no further bits of foam. 3 days later we went again. I ordered mint choc chip and my partner ordered strawberry. This time, my partner noticed something black in the strawberry ice-cream. I scooped it out and was surprised to find another chunk of soft black foam. I would be interested to find out if any others have found similar. If it's happened to us 2 out of 2 times then contamination is a serious issue here. If the owners read this, please can you explain how black foam is getting into...

We had a break here after the walk to the dunes.

First of all, the cafe has a very strategic place in between of the dunes and hotel :)

The prices are a bit high but normal for the location.

We had a cake, cookie, coffee and orange juice. The juice was fresh, the coffee very good. The cookie tasted ok as well, only the cake was full of sugar and a bit of”hard”. Maybe it was from the day before? I don’t know.

An absolute 5 star goes to the stuff. They gave us 2 forks even we did not ask for and had two sweets. This level of attention should...

Great ice-cream shop just off the beach from the Maspalomas sand dunes. Quality and taste of the ice-cream was superb and good portion size. I had chocolate and mango sorbet in a medium cup and my husband had a cone with nougat and passion fruit yogurt ice-cream. We sat outside in the sunshine but plenty of tables inside and in the shade. It was busy when we were there but staff were quick efficient and friendly.
