El Oasis offers both lunch and dinner seatings with different vibes, but overall, my experience left much to be desired.

Lunch Experience: Lunch here has a casual, bistro-style atmosphere, with both interior and exterior seating. The outdoor area is pleasant with parasols and a lovely view of the dunes, keeping it cool even on warm days. My first lunch—a club sandwich with fries—was satisfying with a generous portion, and the attentive service enhanced the experience.

However, our next lunch was a disappointment. I ordered the beef burger, which turned out poorly; the fries were undercooked and limp, and the burger tasted off, almost like low-quality pork sausage.

Dinner Experience: Dinner is marketed as “fine dining” Spanish cuisine, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. We sampled various hot and cold tapas, but most of them fell flat.

While the pan y tomate with meat was tasty and the tortilla was decent, the prawn with garlic oil, potato salad, and cheese with guava were underwhelming at best.

The sirloin steak arrived an hour after we were seated and was served on a hot plate, creating a lot of smoke. It needed more seasoning and time to rest, while the sides—boiled potatoes, limp asparagus, and overcooked peppers—were bland and uninspired.

Desserts were even more disappointing. The crema Catalana was passable, but the French toast and accompanying ice cream were inedible.

Wine Pairing: The wine pairing was uninspired, repeating the same wine we had at lunch, and the dessert wine was identical to the one offered at Krystal the night before. I expected more creativity here.

Overall: El Oasis’s food quality was inconsistent, with dinner especially failing to deliver on its “fine dining” promise. The service was pleasant, we commend Alberto the manager for his efforts but the food quality and lack of attention to detail make it hard to recommend for an elevated...
