Playa del Jablillo — Attraction in Teguise

We used to love this beach, it used to be the highlight of our holiday. However, now it is over saturated with tourists so much so that you can barely move. Diving lessons are carried in the small lagoon, which makes it dangerous for adults and children as they are literally diving everywhere, and you often can't see them.

The toilet facilities are disgusting, all of the toilets were blocked and locked the next day we visited. We have better toilet facilities, on the UK coast ( I know as I live on the Kent coast). The beach also seems to unmaintained and the sand seems to be receding, we know this as we have...

Awesome spot for snorkeling. We hired full face snorkels for 5 euros at a local shop. Then spent most of the afternoon in the water. Absolutely tons of fish and the beach is quite well protected by the rocks that have been placed. Lots to explore in a reasonably safe environment. There are public toilets and an outside shower too. This is perfect beach for snorkeling 🤿 lovers. Because is sheltered from main sea , there is a vast amount of calm water which encourages all small 🎏 species to attend in big numbers. Simply bring some oat 🍪 cookies,and you will be surrounded by thousands of hungry fish 🐠. Kids love it and spend a lot of time out there chasing them for whole day.
