Garlic bread was two small dry pieces of toast. Hardly any butter and didn’t taste or smell of garlic. Send back one piece that had a bite out of it. The same piece came back with some garlic butter added to it. The king prawns on toast were fine, but the portion size (one small piece of toast) was small.
The sangria tasted amazing. But was a bit pricey at €17 for a litre, compared to other places we have ordered it.
Steak was cooked as requested (rare) and was very tasty. Portion of chips on the side was small. The salad on the side was tasty.
My parter ordered spaghetti in a tomato sauce and said it was tasty.

Total bill was €80. Everything was ok, but a few small improvements and increased portion sizes would have made it feel value for money. Probably won’t come again.

As soon as I saw my beer, I asked for the drinks menu to check on some things then discovered that he has not brought me a large beer but instead a small expensive beer so naturally I asked him. I’m happy to have found this little tourist trap so that I could write a...
Read moreBar Habana Cafe 1958 is a small, family-run establishment located a short distance from the main square in Costa Teguise. The business has been operating for four years and maintains a clear focus on offering local produce, both in terms of food and beverages. We stopped by for a drink and noted their commitment to local sourcing. The drink menu is noteworthy for its range of draft craft selections—including local ales, stouts, and IPAs—all brewed on the island. It provides a good opportunity to sample the emerging craft beer scene in Lanzarote. In addition to the drinks, the cafe serves local food items. The service provided by the family is fast and efficient, which contributes to a relaxed visit. Overall, Bar Habana Cafe 1958 provides a quiet, reliable option for visitors seeking locally sourced products and good service outside the busiest tourist areas of...
