So, I went with my 2 cousins and we rented 3 chairs and ordered a 50€ champagne.

We then ordered the ceviche; which tasted like lemon juice and my cousin ended up returning complete as it was just a no-go, the salmon tartar; which tasted like just an average store-bought meal, and a burger which was ok and a grilled chicken that never arrived plus some more drinks.

We reminded about the chicken and they said it was coming, then they just picked up everything from the table like if they decided we were done eating and said they were going to bill us and we gave a second reminder about the chicken. After some minutes we reminded the waiter about the bill and told him to cancel the chicken because it had been over an hour and they just kept saying it was coming.

We waited 30min and neither the bill nor the chicken arrived so we went back to our chairs as the waiters were walking around and would eventually charge us whenever they had the time.

Our waiter comes and of course, they billed the chicken and the ceviche. We told the waiter that we never ate the chicken cause it never arrived and that we returned the ceviche so we asked to remove the chicken from the bill and my cousin said she would not pay for the ceviche the waiter said my cousin would have to speak to the manager about the dish which was no issue from our side.

The manager (Núria) came already with a bad attitude, we explained the situation and said we were not going to pay for the ceviche because it was just not good. We never refused to pay for the bill but just the ceviche, however, Núria started throwing a temper tantrum saying she hd never had a ceviche returned (Looking at the reviews, that is simply not true) and kicked us out by telling the security guard we would not pay for anything and both being very hostile trying to pick up a fight with us.

The female waiters were great while the male ones were just doing the bare minimum yelling sexist and homophobic comments as jokes/insults.

Núria was so smart she decided a 14€ ceviche was worth more than the 150+€ we consumed. That is amazing management skill right...

I’d like to share my recent experience at this beach club. While the location is beautiful and the beachside drink staff were friendly and attentive, the service at the restaurant was unfortunately quite poor and left a negative impression.

From the beginning, the staff seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. When we asked about sweet potato fries—which we saw being served at a nearby table—the waitress curtly told us they weren’t available. This felt dishonest and unnecessarily dismissive. We also requested salsa that was never brought out, and no one checked on our table throughout the meal. We eventually had to walk up to the bar just to request the bill.

I ordered the sweet chili grilled chicken skewers, which had the potential to be a great dish, but they were served cold. It was clear they had been left sitting out too long, likely due to the staff’s lack of attentiveness. The food could have been enjoyable had the service been more professional.

We felt ignored and judged throughout our visit, needing to actively signal staff just to place an order. While the food itself had promise, the poor service completely detracted from the experience. I won’t be returning, which is disappointing, as this could be a great spot if the restaurant staff were better trained and...

Take notice of all the reviews about the rubbish service - unfriendly and unhelpful.

A couple of weeks ago my maid of honour booked a table for the 6 of us in advance for my hen do and were really looking forward to visiting.

When we arrived, our table was unfortunately right by the road, which wasn’t ideal, so we politely asked if we could move. The greeter said no but thankfully her colleagues kindly set up another table for us on the beach, which was much better.

However, shortly after, the same greeter came over, was very rude and argumentative and told us off for sitting outside, even though her own team had helped us move. She was unable to tell us why we couldn’t sit outside despite there being a lot of empty tables available. The whole interaction created such an uncomfortable atmosphere that we ended up leaving and going elsewhere without spending a penny.

It’s a real shame, as the setting itself was lovely and the other staff were accommodating but the way we were treated by the greeter completely ruined the experience. None of us...

This is the second time we have visited. This time, it was to spend the whole day on their sunbeds. They take credit cards, and you can even pre-book via their website. There's a barcode on every canopy pole, and you can see the menu online. You can book the beds online but can't order food online. But no issues. The staff and service are ultra efficient. As soon as they take your order the drinks arrive. Food was delicious, and they have a huge variety of drinks. And all servers speak English. Also, you can use their toilets even if you're just using the sunbeds. They are just outside, towards the seaside. In September 2023 the sunbeds cost €6/bed for the whole day. The restaurant and bar are open till midnight while the sunbeds close at 7pm.

We arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed, and as soon as we entered the restaurant/beach club, no one greeted us. The staff gave us unfriendly looks, and when they finally came to take our order, they first said the kitchen was closed. When we tried to leave, they offered to prepare our food anyway. The food arrived quickly but was very disappointing. The Pad Thai tasted like instant noodles – the vegetables weren’t properly cooked and the dish lacked any flavor. My toasted noodles were a disaster – completely bland and underseasoned. The food definitely needs a lot of improvement, and I would not recommend eating here. The only positive was the atmosphere, which was really nice.

Moliere Playa or Playa Santa (now) has a cool atmosphere and good food in the front line at the beach. We tried their Ceviche (which I don’t recommend because of being insipid) and their tuna tartar which was very good. Their drinks are also ok but pricy. On the other hand they allow you to buy and take away them to the beach. Unfortunately as many other chiringuitos, the vibe changes when they close it for partying since it is become a headache for all beach visitors with many drunk people making the surrounding messy and dirty. They also treat customers very different from day to night time. I believe they should improve these points to be a more attractive place.
