If you are approaching the building from the Science Museum end, the last section (with purple carpet) is currently closed. Keep walking and you should find the entrance to the rest of the Umbracle.

Or if you go up the two spiral stairs near the food stalls outside the science museum you will be inside the structure.

There is currently not much special lighting in the evening and looks quite dark inside in the evening...
