Worst experience ever. No professionalism at all in dealing with needs of the customer. I just wanted to upgrade my ticket from standard to first class, but no one knew how to help me. The keep lying to me, there are more than 13 seats empty in the first class as the customer service just said to me. The customer service refused to do the upgrade and instead they said you can do the upgrade on the train!!!! No one understands English. I’m wondering who speaks just one language in the world now. To improve the customer service and enhance the relationship with customers you have to do many things:

Train the staff: Train your staff to be courteous, polite, and empathetic towards customers. They should be trained to handle customer complaints and inquiries effectively, and in multiple languages if necessary. Staff members should be well-informed about the train schedules and routes, and be able to provide accurate information to customers.

Provide multi-language communication: Train station staff should be able to speak multiple languages to assist customers who speak languages other than the local language. Additionally, consider providing signage, announcements, and information brochures in multiple languages.

Be responsive: Ensure that customer inquiries and complaints are responded to promptly and professionally. This can be achieved by providing a feedback mechanism such as a suggestion box or customer service hotline, where customers can provide feedback or raise concerns.

Enhance waiting areas: Provide comfortable and clean waiting areas for customers, with adequate seating and amenities such as charging points, water fountains, and toilets. Make sure the waiting areas are well-lit and well-ventilated.

Streamline processes: Simplify the processes involved in purchasing tickets and boarding trains. Make sure that ticket vending machines are user-friendly and that ticket prices are clearly displayed. Provide clear directions and information on where to board the train.

Regularly assess and improve: Regularly assess the customer service experience and make improvements based on feedback received from customers. This can be achieved through surveys, social media feedback, or other feedback mechanisms.

By implementing these suggestions, train stations can improve customer service, create a positive customer experience, and build customer loyalty.

During my holiday I visited with my girlfriend the Nord Station in Valencia. We did this because we did go to Madrid by train from Valencia. The station looks very nice from the outside. Also the inside is very nice. You can buy tickets at a desk or you can buy them buy your own at a machine or online. When you buy them online it is most of the time more expensive in comparison with the station. It is easy to go to the station by bus or taxi. Don’t go by you own car because it is not easy to park your car there.

You can also buy drinks, snacks and sandwiches at the station. The people who work dear are not so good in English. But they do their best to help you out when you have question. The trains in Spain look very clean and they even serve drinks, snacks and sandwiches in the train itself.

The trip itself was very nice. We saw a lot of Spain during the train ride. We traveled by high speed train. The train traveled with a speed of more than 300k/h. In the train you did not feel a...

Today, as usual, I tried to recharge my Cercanias ticket to Xativa from Valencia nord. There was an assistant near the zona for tickets in the main hall. I asked him, I need a ticket to Xativa and would it be valid for Castrillón (I plan to travel one day there and thought if I can use this ticket for both distanations. The person, instead of helping and answering questions started ask Why do you need and Ask this and that and finally when I asked his name, he became rude, hid his badge and said he is a chef of the station and he will call the police to kick me out from the station. I am shocked from this customer service of the Valencia nord station. I left reclamation with description of this situation but because the person in uniform hid his name and threatened me, I have been told that it’s impossible to find who it was. Terrible customers care and zero respect and...

Valencia North Train Station is a beautiful old building, but right now it is definitely not the easiest place to travel through. There is a lot of construction happening inside, with certain pathways blocked off, which makes it tricky to get to the platforms quickly. One thing to be aware of is that the platform information comes up very last minute. I actually missed a train because the platform for my departure was only announced about 10 minutes before it left, and I happened to be on the other side of the station. The layout of the platforms is also very confusing. For example, platforms 21 and 22 are hidden away on a far corner down the left side, while platforms like 8 are all the way on the opposite side. Lesson of the day: leave yourself extra time when travelling from here, especially if you do not know the station well.
